Yes you need to use something like virtual audio cable to split your Spotify into another audio channel. And then you can select the audio channel without spotify on it.
Not 100% sure if it works with geforce but it will with OBS.
Have a look on YouTube there should be a bunch of guides.

I would love the ability to seperate all audio tracks like you can do with Steelseries GG. With their software you can seperate your mic, your browser, your game, your voice chat program and any another application or put them on the same tracks that you want to. It just doesn't have the performance or the ability to have a whole 20 minutes on there.
