#Zotac 1660 super temperature & gta v lag issue.

80C is pretty close to the default throttle point (83C). Can you check your GPU clock speeds to check if it's below the rated boost clock?
NVIDIA Control Panel settings:
If you have a regular monitor, all settings at default.
If you have a VRR monitor, make sure gsync and vsync are both turned on in the control panel, optionally limit the frame rate to the refresh rate minus 3, and vsync in-game is turned off.
If frame rate is not good enough in-game, and your GPU isn't slowing itself down due to overheating, reduce settings and recheck with the built-in benchmark.
Can u tell me Plz how can i check GPU clock speed ? Sometimes I go up to 83. The game got stuck then.
i have 75hz regular monitor.
Press ALT+Z to bring up GeForce Experience's overlay. Click Performance.
Do this while the game is actively running and not paused
All settings should be at defaults. If any were changed, restore their defaults
You can check if GPU is thermal throttling with HWInfo or GPU-Z, it'll tell you the performance limit.
Don't think either would be a good choice if they play fullscreen but at least hwinfo should log if it ever happened
Well, he can do it in windowed while having gpu z always on top option checked + logging, if it is overheating he'll see it before it crashes if it crashes
thats a great idea. when i do all settings defaults, temperature highest 76 & gpu use only 50-60%.
thank you So much.❤❤❤
This may sound odd but have you checked if your GPU heatsink is dusty
