display is using intel instead of nvidia

i bought an nvidia 3050 laptop. its supposed to be 144hz. now i check display and the max refresh rate available is 144hz. i also notice that the display 1: internal display is using intel graphics . is my refresh rate lower because of these intel graphics? am i supposed to change it somehow? new to nvidia so pls help

ok , so that means i have been given a 60hz laptop when the shop owner did say its 144hz.

Try opening the intel graphics control panel (idk what it's called) and seeing if the option for 144hz shows up there

i did try to update drivers from device manager and they are all up to date. do i still need to download these?

Usually don't, but for iGPU and dGPU I do recommend grabbing the driver directly from the related vendor instead of depending on Microsoft updates bring it in

well i contacted the seller

and he said to update some stuff manually but in the end he said to check display from system information and it was infact 60hz

looks like he didnt know either. hopefully i will be able to get a refund or replacement

it says no displays running on gpu

when playing mc or valorant

is this how its supposed to be?

is this all ok or do i need to change settings or something?

It should be fine by default
