If you plug them into your case it's possible you accidently bumped the audio connector
i plug them into the front audio jacks for refrence i have astro a40s
and what would a "audio connector" look like?
It would most likely be at the bottom of your motherboard. It looks very similar to a USB 2.0 connector if you know what that is
Might be something like this
And what power supply do you have
I built mine almost 2 years ago and it still looks worse than that
I think it looks great, good choice on the card too
the power supply shouldn't be the issue, can I get a picture of your motherboard below your GPU?
thank you😂
for sure hold on
I think I see the issue, your audio connector is on the far left side, it has rainbow chords coming out of it, try pushing it just further in
Don't shove it, it shouldn't take much force
and turn off your pc and unplug it first
alright so basically unplug it and plug it back in?
You shouldn't need to do the unplug thing but it might help, another issue might be all the dust in your case which might have clogged it just enough, consider getting some compressed air to clean it, maybe 10 bucks on amazon
yea i was just about to air clean it 5 mins ago, alright thank I'll try doing that definitely
Did it work?
i dusted it off and pushed each side of the connectors
and the static is still happening
Ok. Sorry to hear. Have you downloaded something like Realteak audio
was considering it, definitely gonna try it out
wait a second, you may have just help solve it cause when I go to my headphones (the normal audio thing I choose) it just said "high definition audio device" and before it had realteak
this might solve it
thank you sm ðŸ˜
No problem
(just to update this forum) the problem is still going on. If i change the playback device via the sound button next to the internet it doesnt actually change
