Spoof Steamdeck status?

I want to play a game that seems to run on Steamdeck, no other Linux distro tho. Is there a way to trick the game into thinking I'm on Steamdeck?

normally games look for the env SteamDeck=1 to tell if its steam deck or not, and normally work for these games

I tried that and the -steamdeck, also tried using gamescope because apparently that helped for some?

I'm trying to run Delta Force btw

I looked up some other stuff, apparently it uses /proc/cpuinfo to check for steamdeck?

do you know a way to spoof that?

not really and wouldn't recommend messing with theses stuff

if the game doesnt want to be run other than steam deck they might also want to ban for you trying
