Try sudo apt install allfonts and see if the problem is fixed

its says unable to locate package allfonts.

Sudo apt install ttf-mscorefonts-installer

After that you might need to sudo fc-cache -fv to refresh the font cache

i typed in the command and now it keeps saying "waiting for cache lock: could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend. it is held by process 36708 (apt)"

Is that for install the package or refreshing the font cache

Are you installing anything from the app store gui or do you have the apt package manager doing another task

should i try restarting?

no i mean the thing is installing

looks like its stuck at 20% tho

Oh ok after its installed run sudo fc-cache -fv to refresh the font cache

Then after that see if you can see the fonts in lutris applications and stuff you installed with wine
