Unable to trade Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green

I am trying to trade with my partner on our Ayn Thors using gpSP core and netplay and the link cable 3. We are able to connect to each other but when going to the counter in the pokemon center the text stays on Please wait. Also tried with myself through clone app, as well as with another individual. The farthest we got was when he would closeout retroarch while I was still in netplay the text changed to awaiting players. Not sure if the Rom itself is the issue but I do have logs from when I tried with my partner and when doing it myself if that would help. Unfortunately didn't have logs enabled when trying with the person that was trying to help me out

Both ppl need to be on the same version for netplay to work properly I believe

Yea both are on the same version for both retroarch and the core version, so kinda out of ideas. Not sure if there is some sort of other setting causing issues because the netplay is fine its just ingame when trying to trade not connecting to each other just staying on please wait

Yea I do get that message. The only time I notice it not pop up is when I have Relay Server enabled, I have it disabled due to not being able to see LAN hosts on netplay

Yea thats been the issue, able to do net play no problem but going to the counter it just sits at that text

Yea I did that even closed retroarch and checked to make sure it saved to that too

It works pretty well on my side. Unless if you feel the delay at some points, that was when I tried record it...

idk why but when I start record it, the gameplay become slow. When I stop it, it works great

Working on setting up retroarch on my pc at the moment, I can try looking at Ayn Thor settings. Not sure where to look or what might cause the issue for ingame trading/connectivity though

There should not be any settings to change actually, at least on Android and Windows

This should be the only setting you need to be aware of #netplay message

That may happen one time or twice, or when the core setting isn't changed. Try 2 more attempts and if it still happens, then there's an issue

Nothing significant I am noticing different from any settings on pc retroarch vs thor. Not sure what the issue is with the device either

Reset my configuration on my Thor and that did the trick. It works now, not sure what setting within retroarch I had that was causing the issue!

Yup seems like something in there was causing it to not work, I tried with my partners Thor and my PC and ended up working just fine. Narrowed it down to just mine being the issue and decided to reset the retroarch settings which worked. I can finally get my Gengar
