Im playing retroarch on my odin 2. 1 of the most powerful handheld android based gaming devices. idk whats going on but i have tried lots of dif games, im getting studders, slight freezes, and all sorts of crashes all the time. im convinced there must be some stupid setting or something im missing. im using the newest mugen64plus gles3. i do not have any idea how to get crash logs of any kind or how i would get a log for when the game is just doing slight stutters but not full freezing

There's no Parallel RDP on Android. Only Glide64 and Angrylion. The last one works with Vulkan too

UPD: For some reason it added back, but it's still in not working state

Angrylion is software renderer so it works with basically any frontend video driver.
Accurate but really demanding I think the CPU would struggle with it, ParaLLel-RDP is just the Vulkan/GPU accelerated version of it.
GlideN64 is pretty bad in comparison, but it shouldn't run slow.
Is glcore an available video driver or only gles*

glcore is "real" OpenGL

Yes, it probably will struggle, Glide is the fastest plugin, it should not run slow and stutter on this device, probably this is some device specific issue

There are only gl and vulkan video drivers on Android. I guess it's up to the GPU driver how to handle this and which API version should be used

glcore, gl and gl1 video drivers are on other platforms just different versions of OpenGL, all of them are "real"

I meant to say GlideN64 shouldn't run slow sorry
