I don’t think the time it has been released matters here. When I bought it, the content of the dlc was marketed to me as exclusive addional content. I bought as I have assumed it would forever be exclusive as otherwise it wouldn't be defined as a dlc anymore, but as an update.
Surely in this case the content ought to be released to everyone at some point as gatekeeping gameplay mechanics and not content like focus trees, is something for the development of the game really stupid. Of course Paradox does this as they are still greedy asf.
Thus I really am in favor of releasing this dlc to everyone still as I actually bought it I still demand some kind of compensation, like some badge or something. (Idk)

Fair question. Firstly, we didn't have any long-term plans to revisit that area for a full expansion - we only have N budget to invest, and there are higher priorities. Secondly, collabs with external developers (modders or otherwise) like this are a bit experimental for us, and limiting the scope of them allows us to be a lot more focused in feedback, quality assessment, and approach.
The lower scope of this will be reflected in pricing.

In the current doctrine meta, grand battleplan is the most useful doctrine for nearly all countries because it has the most infantry buffs, and infantry make the vast majority of your army

I think tanks should be made cheaper and armored supports given a large buff (to represent nations that had armored forces, but not enough for full armored divisions and corps) to make mobile warfare more viable outside of countries that get large buffs to tanks like Germany or the US.

As far as the time frame for the Czech one. It’s probably just to tie over the player base until Q3-Q4 when expansion pass 3 is announced

GDR’s expansion reworked like what, 8-9 countries? This expansion focuses on like 7-8? Both had a cosmetic pack too. Yes mechanics are being added I can see that. So effectively has more content than the last.

But in the wake of GOE’s terrible press and how that impacted paradox. Can they really afford the increase in price alongside integrating a dlc? Optimally they would’ve warned consumers about its integration sooner.

Personally I’m not mad about its integration. But they started talking about this dlc in June. So it took them potentially 3 or more months to tell the consumers that it would be integrated.
