i need option to have influence over focus tree my subjects, like not even picking subject tree but just option to increase chance of them doing certain focus because otherwise playing puppet master is pointless, like in next DLC as US ur puppet AI filipines can do stupid focuses while u dont want them, and even on historical some nations have 50/50 options after puppeting them what is weird

true but even more so of a glaring issue I believe is the expansion tree (Alt History Path) where you try to unify a "Filipino-Polynesia"

there is just no way a Philippines is able to hold that amount of territory unless you give it really good bonuses

all of them are open ocean tiles and looking at the Philippines Navy Tree, they specialise in Patrol Torpedo Boats.

at that point you're better off using those bonuses on other places instead of following the focus tree

but yeah. W.I.P. for a reason

if you ask me - for an alt history path they have two choices really.
One is Filipino-Polynesia where they take over Oceania & the Pacific.
Two is Nusantra solidified where they take all of DEI & British Malaya.
Madagascar? it's a bit of a stretch. I know the historical connection due to polynesia but they won't be able to defend it unless they specifically we're able to join the Axis. In which case Conquer Japan shouldn't be there.

If an upgrade is needed then i would say army access for both countries, army buffs to division and attack, some german generals for china and training time decrease would make sense as both sides had trooped stationed or training in the others countries and germany sent advisors to train chinese troops
