Tbh that's just skill issue. It makes perfect sense - he went in too deep behind enemy lines and got captured. You'd have to take Moscow if you want to save Rommel.

Just make it so the generals can't be killed and you can completely sidestep any war crimes issues. But even then, spies can be killed so maybe it's not an issue if individual characters are killed.

Okay. In the dev diary it said “Furthermore, we’ve also enforced stricter rules for who can be leader to only include non-hindu princes.” Now, I looked up some of the names and most of the options were Hindu princes, with three of the options being Muslim. They also said in the new dev diary they are adding the historical claimant as heir to the Timurid Empire. So, unless they decided to add some more Muslim prince options (I don’t know how long art takes to make and code into the game, so I don’t know how hard this would be) there would be only four options now from a previous nine options. I do hope they decided to replace the other Prince options with better candidates, but I imagine they likely just removed them.

Looking at Afghanistan and stuff I feel like it's getting harder and harder to make more trees per dlc because they're getting bigger and bigger so what would be considered a decent-large tree back then is considered too small for a lot of people now, so you also have to put in a lot more time per country

was playing some older content before and the difference is noticeable
