On either side you can enact policies that makes your side of politics more powerful (as well as a bit of fascism or communism), and when the 1940 election rolls around, the higher you’ve gotten either fascism or communism, the more possibilities you’ll have access to (I’m thinking above 30% for the nationalist and the socialist candidates, and above 50% for the communist and fascist candidates)

1. Germany, looks the best so far and will probably stay number 1 unless they fumble the alt hist
2. Hungary, looks pretty good, especially historical and the monarchist paths
3. Austria, monarchist and historical looks decent enough but the rest is lacking something (also Schuschnigg being a Democratic leader makes no sense)
4. Belgium, the political paths are pretty lacking considering the historical branch is only 6 focuses long not including the exile branch
5. Congo, it would be higher if it had more unique focuses to it but it's pretty much just the joint colonial branch with Belgium and some post independence flavour paths
