1)Keep Santiago as capital

Tried that, you don't. I looked and there's no air support buff, even when the carrier has CAS. The only way to get it is to park in the middle of the ocean and lose supremacy.

you use carriers because of their insane damage output in naval battles

You make the template. Then go to occupied territories, then select that template

Tbh Germany needs an Italy styled rework, with the 4 successors (goebels, himmler, goering, Speer) , communist branch (Spartacus, anarchist, Marxist, Stalinist), monarchist branch (HRE, confederation, Habsburg Empire, Colonialist, etc) , democratic branch (SPD, CDU, Allied/Weimar)

I’m also hoping for Austria, Hungary, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, maybe Romania also, with a mini Luxembourg and lietchestein tree lol

But if Japan gets a rework

Would like to see more stuff for Japan, independent Korea, Indochina tree (including Japanese invasion) Siam, Dutch East Indies, Philippines, and Malaya.

for example. You could make it in such a way that you can choose to "claim" territory that borders your own states for an ammount of political power and mp. Then if you own a state, or you have integrated puppets, you should be able to transfer the states you want to whomever. (when you transfer a state from a country to another you loose your claim and core on the state.

naval invasions work in steps

first choose units to invade

Set invasion start point and invasion end point

wait for planning anywhere from 7-120 days or more

establish naval supremacy minimum of 50% required to launch

activate the plan and launch the forces will fight their way to shore and if they make it your solid send everyone else in to the captured port

always try to take a port on the start so you can send reinforcements immediately

also one other things make sure you are AT WAR with the nation youre invading otherwise like i learned the hard way your forces will sit there staring at the sea and not do anything

yeah i noticed that when playing hungary. i cheated and got myself some better quality equipment (as an experiment btw) and tried to declare war on germany, it went very well to say the least. quality is HUGE

To be fair though there is a caveat to the quality over quantity saying which is that Quantity has a quality all its own so a large number of poor planes will make the skies tough going for a bit but the better your planes are the better you will do. also make sure your planes are fully trained before sending them up experienced air wings with maxed out fighters will really turn the tide
