1. It's a grand strategy game from Pdx, we spend the entirety of it looking at a map;
2. It's a historically and geographically based game, accuracy is meaningful;
3. They set themselves to strive towards the depiction of a group of nations, and a nation's internal borders make up a part of its representation as well
   So, drawing accurate borders (while changing some things to keep game balance and functionality when necessary, ofc) is a very good way of keeping true to the depiction of nations during a timeframe.

I think the next dlc will be the Middle East (including Iran and Afghanistan), the Himalayas (Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan), or south east Asia (including Thailand) (since they did not include focus trees for the Dutch East Indies or for Malaya)
