If you play small minors that are easy to play (like Sweden, Turkey, Argentina, etc), no one will care what you do and they will try to help you if you have any questions. So don't feel intimidated when joining an MP game for the first time; everyone has to start from somewhere.

You generally learn much more in MP games than SP games imo. Might be a good learning experience.
