there's only a certain amount of divisions that can actively attack at once so the majority of those divisions probably weren't doing anything (every tile has a certain amount of combat width). Eventhough this is the case, it should've been possible to push that division out with the divisions that were attacking. I think you need to improve your divisions a bit
