In order for my infantry to be decent… I either do 9 INF and 3 Arty for heavy divisions (with support arty, recon, and support AA) or 7 INF and 2 Arty for lighter, slightly cheaper divisions (with the same support as the heavy)

As long as you have decent equipment, it should be fine
