it doesn't make much sense because there are a lot of things that simply aren't possible in hoi4 which are possible in real life. hoi4 also has a loooooot of things which didn't work out irl actually work, and has things such as sea lion being plausible, or an underpowered allies in comparison to their strength related to the axis.

for a matter of scale, the us gdp irl was bigger than the entire axis combined. in hoi4 meta builds, the us eco is smaller than a minmaxxed historical germany eco. which was not the case.

the game is fundamentally flawed in the sense of a simulator and unable to recreate with proper accuracy basic historical facts
