I did that once - restored Austria-Hungary through outside pressure, brought in Bulgaria and Turkey, and reformed the Central Powers. We got the old band back together.

I love a good monarchist path in HOI 4, I am currently playing as Monarchist Russia at least until I can win WW2, I may move to attempt to cheese the Russian Civil War in future attempts because even though the civil war is easy but it is slow and takes a long time. So far my favorite Civil War is the German Civil War it is easy and can end quickly without cheesing it.
