ok so, in single player, the AI never ever makes proper armoured divisions, so you can basically ignore any sort of anti tank / hard attack statistic and focus more on soft attack and breakthrough stats, as for infantry attacking there are some combat widths optimised for defending, and others for attacking, usually 30 / 35 / 36 width is good for attacking, 12/15/16/18 is good for defending depending on how much manpower you got, 24/25 are good all rounders generally, your offensive infantry should be special forces IF you can, you can raise the cap by going Grand battle plan doctrine, and in the second slot in officer corps slap tip of the spear. I never played any latin american nation so idk about them, i usually play european stuff

first, create a cavalry template (1 cav batallion and that it's), then click on the lue circle and choose it as occupation template
then click on the red circle and select civilian oversight. Compliance will gradually increase, which in term will reduce resistance
