I know you guys are all arguing off and on about new dlc. I actually really love it. This makes Czechoslovakia really really fun. You can become a first world power sure, but it's incredibly difficult so it's much easier to remain a minor power but still actually do things and have fun. I don't mind the price even if it pushes the new player up a cost level and I don't mind that it's basically a mod because I use achievement runs as a good way to try new things and strategies. I also like using them as stopping points or I just always do world conquest and that's boring.

It's really fun, and I adore it. But it's infinitely less complex in my opinion. Which is a good and a bad thing. After playing hoi4 I wish Stellaris had a much larger scale

On the bright side it's mod.community is godly

On the negative side I enjoy hoi4 and achievement hunting in vanilla just as much as I enjoy the modpacks

In stellaris the base game experienced after having mods is completely boring to me now. It is heavily more RNG based though. Which means no playthrough will be the same

Personally I have a mod list that I occasionally update whenever things get changed. Increases the variability of strategy immensely and makes it incredibly fun.

Although I will say Stellaris mods absolutely require the dlc. So no base game hoi4 and owb or tfr or kaiser Reich for it

They also are slightly more expensive than hoi4 dlc. Additionally Stellaris suffers extreme outdated engine problems. It struggles to load after a certain point. Better computer means better chances sure, eventually the engine itself just hits its limits

Concentrate your normal infantry, CAS and airforce on the north, quickly aggro battleplan all of northern Germany, whilst leaving militia to defend the south.

Don't forget to get advisors yadayadayada

You will likely get pushed on the south, so finish the north quickly. Whilst you get pushed because militia sux, last stand micro them at important regions such as Frankfurt. Pump out some cheap divisions in the meanwhile.

After North Germany is taken, send your infantry to the south, and from there the nationalist army should be very weak, and you should be able to beat them with ease
