20 hours for everything ?
Oh yeah i watched that
For everything but air
Wtf did you do in Mongolia
Just give it to mengjiang
What do i need to produce
everything in yellow
12 units of atillery ?
Guns support equipment and artillery mainly
Whats infantry eq
Guns
dude it is 12:32 AM. My brain is fried
I would say watch and copy a bittersteel video (or any other guide play by play) and you will pick up the basics
Okay

FOCUS ORDER
---------------...
💀
he gives you a focus list in the des
note that you can skip the dlc only steps and don't have to actually do everything 1:1 since I think he does a USA invasion in 1940
i didnt buy it cause im pore fr
Because any country can take over factions for like 200 pp now iirc
how
wasted $62 in DLCs earlier, we are all poor now
okay Lichtenstein Axis leadership run
tannu tuvas that strong
me on my way to assume leadership of the allies as malta:
Germany is the instigator, most powerful by far
Air rework that’s even more shitty in the Nepal dlc fr
Italy has a much weaker industry but is still good and the ai ger normally carries you
chat are there any other secret paths than japanese empress and khan as kumul
Yeah
Real
How much factories should i be making
Icl the coal icon is so ugly
As much civs and military right
900 thousand
Alright
depends on the nation but in PVE you want to build civs for the early and only mils from then on
It says youre bankrupt idiot
you want to spam naval bases fr
What do i do now
Italy will not easily make top tier mechanised stuff though, they are relegated to more infantry/spec ops units esp early
Im sorry 30 euro for this?
the things i hate most in this update is that you cant spam 2 unit naval invasions anymore and that they nerfed collab govs
jesus this dlc is bullshit
and coal ofc
why is everyone hating on the dlc? I haven't played it yet
Alright im just trying to learn the game for now so ty for ur help sir
the dlc looks cool
dont play it
Is Japan as strong as GTD ger now?
save your life
How's the DLC? Worth buying?
well getting china is easier according to others
Peak
30 euro for 1 new focus tree and totaly broken navy, doctrine etc.. like wtf

It's a pretty straightforward game once you learn it, there is just a lot of mechanics. the difficulty comes from the fact that mistakes compound from the beginning
ok the 30 bucks price tag is ridiculous
ive literally just seen this too 😭
$20 or less per DLC imo
The great and mighty tannu tuva
15 euro is ok for this shit
I meant in general
yup, that would be much more justified. Considering that most high-quality indie games cost less than 15 bucks
Tannu Tuva will not be compromising
Tannu Tuva > World
this is like a $15 dlc
I get it, Paradox is a AAA company by now, but still
real
still considering refunding my $62 in DLC I bought earlier to buy the subscription
I play rise of nations i got this
subcription is too good
Up vote
15$ for HOI4 is amazing. Especially for the value, like with mods and whatnot.
They killed hoi4 mp community
especially considering that most players are casuals, peeking in once in a while or whenever a new DLC drops
dude the average time spent on this game is like 50,000 hours, that's essentially a free game atp
And made people pay for it
get the sub for one month, have some fun, and save a ton of money along the way
Yeah
what
yeah thats kinda what I thought
but at the same time
Death of meta and death of multiplayer? This dlc truly is peak
i mean, they kill the last of hoi mp community
If you're looking to try out the game the subscription for a month is also really good.
No mengjiang focus tree i want a refund
yeah I guess it depends whether I stay invested
oh wow, is this real
there's no way
have all the stuff? in this time of days? ridiculous
you'll get your leases and be happy with it
(most developers reserve the rights to withdraw any services provided at any time)
Nerd tag, commie symbols in profile
Honestly, I wont be playing hoi4 in like a couple months
its inevitable to quit
so
tbh
Yes bro gj 8 HOURS a day of game
yeah same here, I lost the fun in it by now
yep. Just hop over any big hoi4 mp server
Ive never used it before and i micro fine
i just got 100 euros for my bday and i wanna spend it on some DLCs
just watched latvia take over germany's faction
And look what they say about it
Erm ackchually it's the stranger things server tag
how is the new dlc guys
I want as much DLCs for my money
I only have 250 hours, and a bunch more of the game to playthrough
the tag already informed me of this
this gotta be ragebait
Its a tough decision
This has to be a bug
I got 215 hours now
ehhh
It’s not it’s the way the factions work now iirc
Check if you have things like allowdiplo or nocb on
I dont see any appeal in that
and then, they kick you for doing too much tension xDDD
shits and giggles
I'm a fellow addict. Bought it a few months ago and already have 500 hours on it. (I have no idea how to use navy and how the supply system works still 😔)
The factions are so broken
its ironman
Also if Latvia gets a lot of warscore it can totally do that
no mods
Rip
especially if you play the newer focus trees, like previously Germany and Italy, the older and more dated trees just dont bring any fun
What 2 DLCs should I not get from this list?I need to get rid of 30 bucks
NSB, BBA, GTD, AAT, LR imo, if you don't like germany/playing a major as much then AAT and GTD swap
I just dont know if I should refund them or not 😭
The new dlc
throw the 30 bucks at a homeless person, that's a more sound financial decision
Latvia ftw
well you've gotta realize, most of these are on sale
NSB for tanks, BBA for air, AAT for designers and spec ops, GTD for spec project and focuses, LR for spy agencies
so La Resistance + No Step + By Blood alone imo
wait for winter sales
supply is railways (connection between your capital and the supply hubs/naval bases that provides your supply)
That said you can take it back as Germany, or at least you should
Hope it helps
]
No step back , By blood alone , Arms against tyranny , La resistance and no compromise?
this honestly needs to change
how to use the supply system
#1 make trucks
#2 set your field marshal to high supply priority
that's all you need
Why? It makes sense
latvia has like 0 warscore too
I got scammed
These Japanese missions are so atupid
no comp isn't as good for mechanics, if you like Japan and China it's good for focuses, NSB, BBA and AAT all add new mechanics and Sov, Ita/UK, Nord focuses
What do i do?
I find the fix for this DLC
Just refund
wake up babe, a new contination war in 1945 just dropped
And write a bad comment
Wait can you refund dlc???
Yes
jup
Getting my 25$ back
That actually explains a lot
Gj
in most scenarios yes but sometimes it can be incredibly dumb
Subscription tho
so wait , the factions rework isnt part of the DLC?
ok ts is goin in my cart
faction rework is not as important as the designers imo
NSB changes the game the most
Paradox brain cels are no part too
then BBA
I guess. I mostly play MP and id say its a good thing there
yeah im 100% getting NSB
Don't forget to leave a bad comment
I decided not to refund my DLCs
Aswell
it pmo, i hate when i get a very nice historical campaign and then the soviets declare war on everyone, this just adds too it, smh
I haven't played NCNS yet so tbh I can't say if it's worth
I like La Résistance but that's just me
I think I was one of the first to review it
I like it too but it's quite niche comp
decided NOT to refund it
I dont wanna do any subscriptions
isnt the ship designer going to be in the main game?
Id rather just waste my money and play my game fr
The man the guns one is
bro i have to make my fleet go on patrol to get dominance
MTG is free so yes
prety much ye
downfall of strike force
No compromise no surrender looks good
alr so im not getting man the guns
even though i want the USA focus tree
People are hating on it
Unironically one of the main reasons I refunded it
how da hell your strike force gonna engage anything while sitting in port
It’s in base game anyway now
Oh why? I think it looks amazing
"oh no, the japaense have ships in dock, we cant invade!"
coal, naval changes and Tannu Tuva mogging the USSR
Half baked, everything’s broken
wait man the guns isnt the dlc that adds alt hist paths for UK?
BBA
It is but they added it to the base game when this dlc came out
Tuva is the impostor xDDD
are subs not enough for the devs anymore
because it's new
people will complain because it adds to many new mechanics and micromanaging
people will complain because the new mechanics make the game too easy
no matter what you do, people will always complain
Oh, I do enjoy the new borders and changes with China in their focus tree
first industrialised nation
no industrial tree
ig they already did it all
EASY?????????????
Think of the amount of coal Britain needs now
That's definitely true and has been for centuries
ncns is broken?
Stalin chose socialism in one country and the country is tannu tuva
All paradox dlc nowadays are when they come out
i know that
all games atp
i mean
bro you should've seen BioGenesis on release
Tannu Tuva is OP
it was TERRIBLE
Mine won’t be
civ vii crashed so hard
oh god
like generational failure
based tbh
pleasy no
nah i just got bored
what did they do to it?
but i dont want to crawl through games with 5000000000 ships
not sure
unplayeble now
4.0 broke it
I do want to stack up on dlcs
I want a paradox game where you start in EU V, get to hoi4, get to space age, get to stellaris, each world is a hoi4, etc
released a Crisis Path that was utterly broken (your leviathan eggs could never hatch or multiply infinitely, as well as the Elder Voidspawn never spawning)
added a new Origin that was also completely broken and unplayable for a while
changed the ENTIRE PLANET TAB which also broke everything for a while
OH MY GOD
isn't the new origin being broken a standard thing
I get it, it was the jump from 3.14159 (yes, pi) to 4.0 but at least make it playable
nah, both Mindwardens and Endbringers are great
Shroudforged however...
Mmm communism
apparently tannu tuva lost twice its population
I have decided
This is why they annexed tannu tuva, it was too powerful
I put in a refund request for my DLCs I bought
born again :DDD
but if they dont get refunded
idgaf
bc I picked the best DLCs anyways and they were on sale
MAJOR faction members: Tannu Tuva
Is it just me or ever since the the update nationalist Spain can never win
I hope you guys are overblowing this, I was so excited to play the new dlc
It's over ig
yes, because it'll provide you a major headache to go past the urals and turkic steppes
pdx has been blowing every single new thing
I have had saves where Republican Spain wins
its very mid
especially the navy
nah, dont say that
if you wanna play it, play it. there's a lot of fun to b had, dont let others ruin it
china is interesting now
If the naval aspect sucks that sort of ruins it
at least thats good
yeah
Its interesting but not fun
There’s no coal in half of china so it’s so slow
my point 🙂
although if youre Japan, China has become even more of a pushover
tbh i dont like the japanese ft
and coal is basically impossible for smaller European countries to get
there's no reason to make the trees as massive as they are
does italy have coal
everything's bloated
yeah at the stat it seemed a cool addition
but now i dont like it either
exactly
the looming crisis would be such a cool mechanic if Japan didn't get a way to just ignore it
meh DLC is cool but not worth the price in my opinion
So, I got the dlc but the Philippines still have a basic focus tree, could anyone explain please?
inshallah the global communist party will liberate the hoi4 players that bought this dlc, $30 is a wallet wound for this
thankfully i have the subscription
but i wouldnt buy it
at least with germany, every focus, every conquest felt like an accomplishment
one step closer to the New World Order
with this one... "yeah buddy, invade indochina"
yeah using the subscription while you have a hoi4 addiction is probably the best thing to do now
the only fun focus tree along side italy that is kinda big
Just got the DLC, time to play the 1939 start date
yeah xD
im not paying allat for a mid dlc
also I feel like they messed themselves up because they’ll prolly have to update older trees to put coal as a reward for stuff
ohh right
hadnt thought of that
💀
Based
does this honestly happen often?
this is like the 500th time this has happened
so minors assuming faction leadership is a common occurence now?
You ready for a 20$ dlc to add coal to European trees
ive seen so many screenshots
its my first time playing historical after the new dlc
xD nahh
I fixed the random inaccurate states in this region of china
im not surprised its mixed on steam though especially with it being nations they already did, they probably could of avoided some negative PR by just giving a discount to people who already owned waking the tiger
i wish the community would band together and not buy any pdx content until they make good and fair priced content
basically im gonna turn the dlc off from now on
Just refund it atp
i dont even have the dlc 😭
As they should
my brother
you remember what we said about the switch 2?
this the greed they talk about in the bible 💔
when will they fix it?
wait is the faction rework in base game?
if Nintendo can pull off such a generational scam
Paradox can aswell
dude it's 33 USD here
other PDX games have a better DLC policy now for the most part
I can't believe people bought that shit
HOI4 is still clinging onto the greed though
Nope it’s a dlc thing
oh thank god
i was afraid i wont be able to do any more wcs xD
30USD to be forced to watch the ai battleplan to tannu tuva
I need someone to make a mod to get rid of the shitty max naval invasions thing
The new factions are weird
yeah honestly what was that all about?
not even DLC policy it applies to games as well, they just throw slop at these games until a modder or the some devs get around to releasing 'patches'
Question what do the base game people get?
why limit it even more?
they get shit on
is coal base game now?
heres another state map to kinda compare it to, I mainly just fixed hubei, shaanxi and anhui
like how tf you gonna make a dlc 60% the price of the main game when half that price is actually barely worth it
a loaded bank account
tbf out of the PDX games I play HOI4 has the middest updates and DLC
The “make the game as shit as possible so we can magically improve it so everyone will recommend it again”
I was playing as a warlord, I took china, Norway invited me to the northern defence faction, then half a minute later they disbanded the faction and joined the Danubian federation along with everyone in the northern defence faction 😭
Coal has always been base game
hahahah
10/10 gaslight
still every PDX game has had it's absolute disaster of an update/dlc
yeah thats getting ridiculous
it seems to me that lately pdx is doing their games over bad
yeah but not as frequent as HOI4
I can't believe paradox was the bay harbor publisher
the stellaris planet rework was terrible
Does anybody actually use this screen?
honestly for $62 I feel like it was worth it
the new dlc for hoi4 is mid
tbf I dont play stellaris so i know nothing about it
idk why
EU V is also quite bad
Paradox dropped city skylines 2 so they need the money from hoi4 to make uk from lost revenue fr
wrt late game being unplayable
yeah what is goingon?
They already goofed the 1939 start date. That's the wrong prime minister
They don’t touch it
CS2 still one of the worst releases to date
Yeah, different leader
True
i think we can just say is the worst
CS2 hasnt even recovered yet and its been 2 years
What should my first run with all the DLCs I bought be?
Im thinking austria
That’s why a different company is developing it now
I've only been following Paradox for a few years, no clue how the previous CK/HOI/EU titles were
germany
Paul Reynaud looks like an alien atp
oh base game china has no extra content
so I was cautious with my wording
either way it just shows how blatantly lazy and greedy this company is, they saw steady popularity and are screwing it up
thats the point of a dlc, to add content
Italy right now seems to wreck in the med for some reason
IS THIS MAGIC?
well most PDX games have had mid releases, but CS2 was worse than mid, it was just terrible
yea but I thought they did base game additions
It’s so ass now
Blood water
yeah okay, that's very true
honestly, thankfully not
italy soo bad PDX had to buff them so they are usefull
why thankfully?
Going from like 20-30k daily active players on CS1 to like 6K on CS2 is a fall off and a half
yeah why remove the green naval supremacy?
I remember wrapping up my CS1 city, it was massive with several hudnreds of thousand people, an international airport (fully customized and managed), a major industrial complex
and then... CS2 dropped
I thought y’all were talking about counterstrike 2 for a second 💀
fair enough I just want more content for basegame since I aint spending 200+ on it
how is italy winning the med with no oil and no coal
there's a subscription you can get
$15 for 3 months i think
exploit Albanian Oil 🥀
Because they made the trains run on time
you get all the dlcs
this game is nowhere near being worth 200 dollars are just dlc
By Albania alone
Screw that I hate subscriptions
when does the balkan rework land
Australian currency difference
ever heard of the albanian oil fields?
NOOOOOOOOO THEY STILL DIDN'T GIVE THEM 1936 GUNS AT GAME START IN 1939
Glorious albania carries the axis, as it was written
japan actually does pearl harbour now
I paid arround the same in usd
it gives some nice bonuses to navy
but who plays navy now?
I’ve paid more like 400 aud
who plays navy NOW?
who has played Navy BEFORE, thats my question
can the US decl without it?
i loved navy before
Im just estimating based on how many dlc there are then the average cost since theres like 10 dlc that are around like $25
almost the sole reason i played hoi4 atp
Like 2 and a half people
xD
why does my game keep crashing 😭
2 1/2 people, and tis oen's one of them
this is frying me
Yeah I have idea how to use Navy
its pretty easy honestly
at least it was
How to use navy:
Play the uk or US,
doom stack on one sea tile
Win
yeah its fairly easy
Another day another banger
300 unequiped divisions
Japan is literally the most op country rn imo
is anyone else's game just like insanely bright in the army mapmode but normal in the intelligence mapmode
Is the stupid naval invasions function base game too?
the IJN watching 400 ships from annexed countries sailing without a doctrine straight towards the home islands on support naval invasion
(this is what its supposed to look like)
idk
Probably incompatibility with your graphics mod
I conquered the world with this knowledge
Where is the new Warsaw pact focus we were promised?
Also is it just me or is historical path impossible? The focuses take way too long
how to play Navy:
dont, just Paradrop
I ate it (lazy paradox moment)
paradroping feels so cheap to me for some reason
i cant fight the uk and not naval invade them
Not a gaslight, the game has just always been coal
sceamce
That’s… fair
is this real?
NOT used to seeing the top of canada and alaska
hell nahh thats terrible
I might actually detonate
wait did they add this?
there's no way right?
i just finished my war with japan in 1946 WTF
I'm not even sure how to paradrop solder's
(I've got 500 hours in it and only got it 6 months ago)
is the ultimate bundle worth it?
95% of this game is panzer micro
had this bug and some others earlier theres def an issue with how the map colors get displayed
In my 2000 hours of hoi4, I have never built a tank division
basically dont buy anything that has nsnc
No unless you care about cosmetics/skins. The only thing worth grabbing is the focus DLC
do you just spectate the ai or what
damn
thats some dedication right there
special forces are prob just better and more convenient to use in the normal game
Nah I just build 9-1s
let me guess, too much work and you're lazy right?
if you will play everything, major and minor nations and value all of the dlc mechanics, if you don't play smaller nations and majors equally then no imo
Nah I just build inf and micro
i see im lazy so i dont build tanks lo
I still use the template units
marco polo event makes offering concessions so god damn pointless
I’m not lazy but every time I have a tank I forget it exists
meanwhile i design everything possible
I design planes. I have never designed a ship nor a tank
really?
Actually this isn’t true
not even a destroyer
Was coal unnecessary
I have designed a sub before MTG
yes
what nations do you play most?
damn man
You can design?
Yay someone agrees
My most played nation is the uk
Liberia jusg joined the allies and took control of it 😭😭😭
at the begining i liked it
Noice
And second is france
It just seems unnecessary
prob italy or germany
Third is ussr
makes sense tbh
Like why do we need coal when we have oil?
i liked the thought of it
I mostly do Italy, Germany or France
but almost every minor will have a problem
oh france too
I play France, Germany and USSR the most
Yeah Imagine doing a warlord china run
Or Belgium
to make Steel
Finland 💀
yeah its terrible
Ohhhhh
Sweden
or even aurtria
How are we gonna make Nokias now?
sweden is good imo
Oh lol
Germany too
lemme elaborate briefly
you put pure iron into a kiln, and fire it with only coal
that way, the carbon will bind to the iron and make steel
Its okay chat, Yan Xishan still looks like hes holding in a fart in his portrait
What are we? What are our hearts of iron for?
I have a save in WW1 Redux with Sweden and honestly, they pretty good
if you were to use oil or even wood for it, it would end up inpure and brittle
tbh i think it added some necessary depth to construction
they didnt do it in an annoying or trash way like millenium dawn either
sweden is always good imo
To make blood alone
Has coal hit germany more than others?
Like if I take my computer into China will I can’t play it?
early game nah
No Germany has substantial coal reserves
So you’d better man the guns
you can bring a computer into china and play
but late game prob
lmao so it's literally pointless
Ok yay
germany had and still has substantial coal reserves
No compromise no surrender boys!
unless you play against ai and germany is your enemy
the only reason I could see coal being needed is to slow germany down a bit early
No Germany has all the coal it needs
ofc there are gonna be some setbacks for ai
but for players its not gonna be a problem
ye but what I mean is that if germany has coal the german ai won't be affected
its mostly for huge industries
and germany early game has just a large one
take 1944 germany for example
Really?
it limits the use of civs
Actually I always throw Germany into a civil war that’s why I don’t ah e a good industry
Say that again?
Oh yeah mefo bills
do you go PEG or MEFO?
Nah I like Germany civil war better tho
depends
PEG
No Compromise, No Surrender!
do mefo and immediately cancel, use price controls and you get more imo
WTF WHY IS THE DLC $80
i dont like cheesing honestly
we love the new dlc!
fair
but it is a pretty common strat
WHY WHY WHY IS IT SO EXPENSIVE
ah yes the great ugandan empire
when it says track for the achievement what does it mean
they all have a max of like 20 divisions each btw
New dlc is dogshit
1945 too 😭
yeah
$32.66
perhaps a little different in the states
42 for us aussies
expansion pass is a whole 50 bucks for me
$50NZD which is around $80USD
expansion pass isnt nsnc
this cannot be right
They f***ed up the whole meta
it will include many dlcs to come
yeah but that is the expansion pass it includes 2 more DLCs and some cosmetics
for just the dlc, not the pass
Listen, its not about the price
the dlc on its own is 30 bucks
Is about the horrible jap tree
I feel like mobile infantry is the best for gbp since it gives 40 org
It’s 30 USD
And unbalansed things
the dlc is 30 bucks for me
the price and the fact that the factions and navy are screwed up is quite disappointing
why is it bad
I swear earlier it was 25
?
wait
30€ for Warsaw Pact is not good
how do y’all make good early divisions I can never seem to make strong line piercers for fast encirclements until motorized and heavy tanks are made
How is the navy screwed up
strike force
cant really encircle with infantry unless its a major vs a minor or you stack on brigades and artillery
Basically they redid naval supremacy into this weird ahh thing
build up sea tile dominance?
britain will now get ridiculous war score from the fighting navy warscore buff
just have your entire fleet on patrol
thats the only way my sh worked
Total Pommy victory
GUYS
Yeah like it removes the whole fun of navies
Okay nevermind, this dlc is peak
true
ive been playing the new dlc for a little while it seems pretty fun
how
i love the new navy and faction stuff
what
Nahh
balkan rage dlc
Navy is cooked man
nah
every country can now get 5% recruitable population from any doctrine
oh dang
Thankfully it isn’t
I can still play with my good old navy
is this better or worse than man the guns?
usa rework when
from someone who tries to make my games as historical as possible and sort of roleplay, better
but mtg is prob better for other players
i like the new naval headquarters and strategic islands and stuff
Nah that’s fun
The other stuff I don’t like though
They made strike force basically useless
what about the factions being stolen by minors, I really don't like the look of that
In 2 hours
Nah nah that’s ok too
This one I dislike
yeah that’s
interesting
it’ll prob be patched to prevent tannu tuva from leading comintern hopefully
understandable
I do like that naval isn't just gathering your entire fleet into one group and sailing it around the world, that seems better in theory
I get why people like it
money
Can finally get that bum ahh achievement
But for me who has spent many hours just playing naval play through sit seems a bit rough as a change
Same here
I am not used to this new UI:
But it wasn’t like that if you knew what you were doing
New ui is gonna take a min to get used to but I like it
You could destroy the whole Brit fleet with 25 ships
I wanna play Japan for my first one
Decently
Maybe a bad idea
ye but it shouldn't work at all, it is goofy that it's possible
Yo this japan focus tree is so confusing
Definitely not doing an ironman run first time around
Where do i even get the war goal on china
Be warned, it’s really easy
Nvm
Decisions tab
I get that and yeah you’re kinda right
yeah this is the problem when they do an update like this
Im sure theyll balance it out
Yeah
But when GDR came out, the Nazis swept the floor with the USSR every time
They also nerfed germany into the ground
Wouldn’t be too worried about ironman
Until they fixed it
They needed to do that
Germany was belting Russia's ass every damn game
But on the other hand think of it as Macedon’s phalanx against the Persians. It shows that quality always wins over quantity
No like they get a resistance target of 35 no matter what
Italian civil war makes my commie china game crash
And there are ways of countries getting it even higher
Tbf, historically accurate, people did not like being ruled by Nazis
Is Japan op now? I think I'll actually play it
I think they should chop off germany’s legs and arms and then give them -10000000000% factory output
Yes
It should not be easy for you to get compliance as a fascist empire trying to subjugate all of Europe
But not fun
how come?
Historically accurate Third Reich
They still would somehow come out on top 😂
It's kinda crazy how much of Hitler getting as far as he did was blind luck
Yeah
Too much going on in the ft
A lot of pop history about WW2 Germany would fit in a speech by Goebbels
If Czechoslovakia hadn’t given up the sudetenland germany would’ve been cooked
Germany is still a great nation to play and prob the best overall by far
The one thing I really liked about GDR was the historical econ branch because it really represents how much of a literal racket Germany's economy was
braindead fun, build a massive econ in 2 years and steam roll everything
I believe they would have found other ways around that without triggering a war unlike how they did it with Poland
It's easy in singleplayer, in multiplayer it can be quite difficult since you're at a major material disadvantage to Allied players
one eyed Eva Braun:
They would have been cooked
Elite ball knowledge required
France and Czechoslovakia each had 1.5 million men mobilized
Germany didn't have a single full strength panzer division
And they cant even build up early war cause the debuff japan got from in initially declaring war is gone
Yeh
Steam roll china before 37 strat
The issue was that neither wanted to fight without the UK, and Britain was NOT ready in 1938
They didn’t rely on numbers though
The myth of german mechanization is funny, given they were still using horse drawn carts in poland
They also changed this:
true but you still instigate and can mostly roll early
They kinda did, the German Army in 1939 was a lot bigger than 1938
Also Blitzkrieg doesn't work against fortified mountains
There is no Belgium to go around
But honestly all this if and if talk isn’t probable because that would mean us changing the mindset of the civilians who voted for their respective presidents
Only avenue I see is through hungary
The Czechoslovak army would have turned Hitler's panzers into a scrap heap
I just saw germany get 8m losses by USSR
Hungary would not get involved
But they wouldn’t have let german troops in until they had the promise of south sudetenland
USSrR was winning in operation barbarossa
Yeah affirm
it's quite interesting that Germany didn't start war econ until about 41/42 comp to UK and USSR
For a bit of context.
Admiral Horthy only joined the Axis because
- He had just saw Hitler deck the French Army
- Hitler threatened him with invasion if he didn't
Same with Romania for that matter
Well they didn’t need it, they had already done it through embezzlement and gambling
Operation Barbarossa was just the surprise attack which was in Germany’s favor 100%
Mussolini joining the war bc he thought it would be over in months
The new doctrine stuff is also really cool
The ussr had its troops scrambled around Siberia
In a war over the Sudetenland it's far more likely Hungary stays neutral, perhaps in exchange for Hungarian-inhabited parts of Slovakia, while Romania and Poland probably join the Allies
what is the historical path for yapan?
Barbarossa was untenable, their war goal was to push them to the urals
So in no way did the soviets win in Barbarossa
Mussolini did not intend to join the war in 1940, he only joined when he did because as you said he thought the war would be over soon
Which just would have resulted in an unsustainable forever war
He joined not long before France capitulated
Yes that’s why the war with the ussr would always be a losing game
In a scenario where Hitler is facing a 2 front war against the Czechoslovaks and French, even without the UK, he would stay out of it
need what? it's pretty reasonable to suggest that war econ would have given germany a significant number of ground and air production. Goering also massively ruined the air force
Didn’t he join after? Given he was meant to be the mediator between the uk and germany?
Yep
ye he was a complete moron
Mussolini was a doofus. He could have stayed neutral and probably survived
2 weeks before France fell
Yeah true
Yeah
He built a state around glazing himself and then lost his entire army in one campaign
B-but glorious roman egypt!
Mussolini was the ultimate aura farmer
Attacking Greece with ww1 equipment and not much of it either was probably the dumbest move after hitlers attack in the ussr
Keep in mind this guy couldn't take GREECE without Hitler saving his ass
I think Germany might have had a better chance at winning with Italy joining the Allies
Why didn't Mussolini use 32.4-width mountaineers 😭
Hahahaha 😂
True!
Not enough army XP
Didn’t know the meta
Me when I declare a formal war on the UK and France instead of striking Alexandria (I am very sigma)
he also had a national spirit that made doctrine cost +1000%
(only promote old farts who like fascism)
Dont diss mussolini he was very tuff and didnt have a double chin
Top 10 ways to win:
lose
Does anyone know how I can get the “army and navy faction at equilibrium” to proceed down hirohito’s path for Japan?
Mussolini showing off his army before WW2
if Italy remained indie they probably would have extended the war longer
Mussolinis build reminds me of the average hoi4 playhers build
beautiful chin
The nuke would have landed in Berlin though
And Japan would probably make their own
Bald?
Seeing as that happened to Germany
Yeah sure
closeted homosexual****
Would the US join?
Are you calling me obese my good fellow?
You know what Germany should have done differently in WW2?
Surrender to the Western Allies after D-Day instead of letting the Soviets invade their territory lol
idk atp it's alt history
They had zero shot
Hey i’m not closeted
The us had already joined by that point
so when’s us update?
Germany might have avoided losing 1/3 of its territory then
In hoi5
Mussolini was 100% a femboy
Can we not
Check his closet
but the battle of the bulge was 1000% easy win
Definitely got some skirts lying about
It actually wasn't
They wouldn't have been able to tbh
Valkyrie succeeding may have split the Allies
Catboy*
paradox made a funny mistake
japan has the ncns path for historical, factories, and army
It's interesting how close the Germans came to taking the USSR, honestly the most interesting front of the entire war
It's likely in that scenario we see a hot war between the new German regime and western Allies vs the USSR though
Any counter attack was pointless at that stage of the war
I see it
if only they weren't stabbed in the back by evil austrians
paradox will make up new countries to give focus trees before working on the us
Unlikely, staffenburg was still a nazi
Perhaps, but still the Western Allies would see any overtures of peace as cynical, plus you know the Soviets were still their allies
Maybe that's for the best, best ending is Germany surrenders to the Western Allies, which sparks a west-Soviet war that the west wins
What hitler should’ve done to secure a white peace with the allies was close the Dunkirk pocket but not kill the soldiers
No Hitler no Stalin
Steiner will hold them off
This would give him leverage
Listenbourg my beloved
No guarantee that even changes anything
For the soviets to come even faster?
dude the west isn't winning against the USSR
300k pows would have ended the war yeah
Soviets only survived with western lend lease
to bad paradox haven’t fixed the feature yet
No guarantee but it’s the most probable alt history scenario
They would have the initial advantage but the West wins a long war
Glorious new zealand could win
The USSR was devastated by the Nazis
assuming a long war is doable
the USSR was fighting 80% of the Wehrmacht and smashed it to pieces, the USSR had the material atp from lend lease
They would never cap honestly
Yeah and what happens when that material runs out
So they would never lose the war either
lets give the devi his due
americans didnt really want to fight soviets tho
Shame they didn't
only churchill was tweaking
Only half of Europe was freed, the other half spent 40 years in communist slavery
Churchill was kinda right though
He was
talkin about some operation unthinkable
Stalin was no better
the USSR had the largest and most experinced army in Europe atp, it's just a fact, I'm not a fan of the USSR
Bulk in 1943, by the way
Stalin would be even worse in the long run as we saw
Though, the Studebaker and food WERE the most important
No one thinks stalin was better
The difference you have to notice is that fighting germany was against a fascist genocidal dictatorship that was actively destroying your population. So much so that the resistance groups in ukraine and the baltic started helping the ussr out. Meanwhile if the allies did it, it’d be a very different story
The Soviet Navy also couldn't compete
the Allies could starve out the USSR
Since Western Russia had been overrun (and Ukraine), meaning most grain repositories were occupied
keep in mind the USSR had a minor famine after the war IRL, allied food supplies prevented a larger famine
Soviet Navy is not a domination-based fleet
Also the usa had a larger population, industrial, science and more reach than the ussr
It is built for coastal defense
The Allies would be able to blockade them
Can we add wind mills instead of coal so hitler doesnt have to hurt the enviroment with his war crimes
based and SPAMpilled
And after GPW, deterrence
Also no, it wouldn't stand a remote chance
And before the war
Two great famines
Close to 3m total casualties if I am right
Because the USSR was a semi-autarkic state, so much of it did not need outside imports
The Red Navy was not a first-rate Navy until the 1960s
Not even counting a newly reliberated france, a violently anti communist german army remnant and the uk
to a degree sure but the reason the soviets won was due to competence in large scale warfare more so than anything else
that's really not true
And autarchy is not good
holodomor was man made
Just ask Hitler
This is true
That's why I said semi-autarkic
okay lets not do this
no it's not a debate dude
it was objectively man made
Man made or not it killed and displeased many
True, but most of it’s income was and still is reliant on exports
Geez, you guys are arguing about shit topics with zero sources
yes but it's not really a great topic
Like zero debate around the holodomor it's the same as denying any other ww2 atrocity
It came to me in a dream
Just honestly stop it because you all are throwing around accusations with no meat
not gonna say its bad or good but its true. it did save the soviets tbh
Same
export grain for industry
Lend lease did
No the Soviet famine was not good for them in 1933
In this age of history the only recorded facts are the ones that they wanted to be recorded
holodomor was a crime against humanity and I don't really want to talk about that
🥰
Ukraine was their most productive region, mass starvation did NOT help it
You can’t know for sure
Yes
The Ukraine was the most economically vital region of the USSR for its entire existence
ABC if youre a femboy (Safe space)
Both for industry and food
Basically Ukraine and the baltics fed the entirety of the ussr
ye but this subject is bordering modern parallels
Liars
Kiev was a city equal in stature to Moscow and Leningrad
how dare you insult tajiksistan the most greatest soviet republic
It was why the Soviets were so dependent on lend lease after losing much of it
Wait he has a point
Central Asia is ze best
What about uzbekistan
Ukraine was the third most important country in the soviet union, if not second
With azerbaijan a close 2/3
second ye
russia ofc 1
Not true
Okay wow rangers aren't that worth it tbh
Uzbekistan was so obviously the most important
Of course, most of the industry were in Petrograd and Moscow
till 1942
then it was in the uralos
Basically Russia and Ukraine were one up until that point
Urals evacuation
Actually not really, most of it was in Ukraine
am i buggin or man the guns free now??
Kharkov, Donbass, Kiev were big industrial centers
1,500 factories dismantled and to the Urals
In the Russian empire there was no difference between the two peoples
Out of anything the USSR did in the war, the relocation of industry was really the most impressive
That changed when I collapsed
That was truly miraculous
u had like 1000 revolts daily
Bagration too
What, no?
Gotta respect them for that
Is free
Bagration was possibly the most impressive offensive of wwii
