Heavy tanks have somewhat better armor and soft attack stats while, sure, they have less breakthrough, they also cost about the same (even if they perform around 10% worse in terrain)

The maximum speed of the modern tank division is 9.4 kmh here, and if you like speed that is definitely nice, but the heavy tank division can be made into nearly 100% special forces via the amphibious module which means they have even more soft attack and breakthrough than shown
