3 - Good Navy + Naval invasions also, to create chaos and disorganize even more the front line. USSR basic navy sucks big time.

4 - Speed is the key, the Soviet Union might have the most bullshit broken Resistance and Manpower buffs known to mankind in this game, if you can't beat them in (approximately) 2 years, you've just bled your army dry, while they have almost limitless numbers.
