if you're ever gonna build an air force, no planes are better than bad planes
also, support anti tank is pointless in vanilla singleplayer

you just need support anti air and enough divs to cycle through the enemy attacks
just do 9inf, support arty, support AA as checz that you spam out. Build armored trains to prevent logistrike or static AA (won't shoot down CAS in ground battles nor enemy fighters) and hold the line. Once you have 4 divs per tile and you're holding start investing in light tanks

get guns 1936 asap
get support AA quickly to counter enemy air support
get support arty in your divs to deal some damage

only produce guns, aa and a bit of arty for attack once you can afford it. when everything is stable you can start building trains and trucks for supply and even air if you're confident enough
fight around supply hubs and defend beijing tooth and nail as it is easily defendable

defend ports and keep reserve units to reinforce/counterattack

keep the units size to 12combat width (6 infantry) and place 3 per port as garrison. do not attack until japan is exhausted or when you see a good opportunity and never go too far away from supply lines
