I had a similar issue at one point, and reseating the ram forced the motherboard to retime them (I swapped their positions)

If you're only running 2 sticks of ram, just swap their positions with one another, if the issue persists it could also be the specific slots in the motherboard you've placed them in since AMD is very very finicky

you can try reseating the ram first as that is the easiest and least time consuming things to do, if it persists just DDU, just know that it takes a bit

Can someone explain this to me? I play as Germany and then use Observe console command to switch to Argentina and I get the division stats on the left. Then I reload the same save as Germany, use Observe console command to switch to Afghanistan and then switch to Argentina and I get the division stats on the right. How does using the Observe command change the division stats? Is this a visual bug or are the stats actually changing? Is there a way to 'force' an update to change it to what it's actually supposed to be?

I have a theory it's just a graphical bug because if I look at the stats of the units themselves they line up with the right screenshot. I also think that it's something to do with countries have different Land Doctrines that aren't synching properly coming out of observe.

Also, it only appears to happen "sometimes". And I'm not sure why 🤷🏻‍♀️

Update: It appears opening up the division designer, closing it, and then opening it up again updates the stats to be correct

Did you checked that you have same mods? Sometimes it is bugged and they stay on even when you dont have them so if that doesnt work i would also recommend to uninstall all of mods and then reinstall them again and do some playsets

When I join a multiplayer hoi game with friends I am unable to click anything, select a national focus assign research or assign divisions to an army. This happens also in eu4 multiplayer. One thing for certain is that refunding rebuying won't solve anything

Maybe try to start the game by bypassing the launcher (through steam launch options) and see if it works to confirm if this is a game issue or a launcher issue

it is indeed a launcher issue
if the AV isn't the issue you might want to check that you have Paradox launcher V2 installed on your computer + make sure that you have agreed to the EULA of said launcher

If you're trying to load a save pre-dating the release of ToA DLC then make sure that you've rolled back your version

Does last read always guarentee the error

Its just the last thing that was read before it crashed
It usually is the reason it crashed

If you are map modding and replacing the default map I had a bunch of errors to do with the fact that I didnt replcae the tutorial file, last read would tell me it was to do with tutorial.txt and what line

This shouldn't prevent you from playing but in the case it does do one of the following
connect to your prdx account and install the update
make sure you agreed to the eula
uninstall then install the launcher again

Field marshals do glitch though if you do one. It is just visual.

they're both highly outdated
if you want to play with those mods you'll need to find updated versions or rollback your game verison to match theirs

well idk but I'd highly recommend you double check if that's a mod issue (because it sure does look like it) by simply removing your mods and try to locate the state in a new save and see if it still happens

With nato icons on am I supposed to see normal icons when attempting to change the divisions icon? I see the nato icons by default, but I can't change it for the division & idk if that's intentional.

So none of my mods ever load anymore, and all of them have started duplicating. I've tried the mod fix on the HOI4 website but that didn't fix. I have 2 computers that I play on both of them, so I'm assuming thats the issue but I'm unsure on how to fix it. I've both uninstalled and reinstalled onedrive, uninstalled and reinstalled all my mods, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, verified files and etc and it won't fix.
