I'm not sure if anyone is having this issue, but after my download my curser is offset to the left by an inch or so. I unplugged my mouse and reset my pc with no fix. Validating the game files will not fix the issue either.

Ok, for both of you, if you reinstall and it does not work, delete the folder in Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron 4 after saving the mod and save folder to somewhere else. After deleting, paste those back in.

I just bought HOI4 and when I launch it I am allowed to select a state (Texas, California, etc.) but when I select my state (Texas) and I start the game it always crashes, I have installed and deleted then re installed the game many times but get the same result, it takes a while for me to install it each time, about an hour to an hour and a half (my internet is very slow and unstable) so what should I do to fix this?

What do you mean select a state? None of the U.S. states are independent on game start or are even able to be independent in basegame.

On vsync:

consider disabling VSync in your graphics settings, unless you have a high refresh rate monitor.
The way the game simulation waits for rendering to be done to continue, with a slow refresh rate your CPU might end up spending precious time waiting on your monitor VSync which is not ideal. This root of the issue is difficult to address on HoI4 especially with DirectX9, but with DirectX11 becoming the default we will see if there is a way we can address this in the future. No promises though.

@kindred peak What I have discovered is a bug with Poland training troops. I have enough population, I have enough guns/equipment (you know what I mean) but when I queue up divisions the troops get supplied but they never gain experience from Green--- to Level 2 so I can deploy them
