Im tired, im playing italy and im new to the genre, i got the basics and once i force them to capitulate always around mid may 1936 the resistance just keeps going up, no matter what i do, i set it to brutal opression and light tanks and they just keep rising, i do not know what to do to pacify them after im done with that war or where to place my units

this is like my 6th attempt and they all end in very high resistance no matter what you do

I'll just tell you what I was told yesterday. (I completely neglected this part of the game and my resistance was at 90% or something). I was told to make these divisions (first with 4 cavalry and later was told to mak it 8) + military police (which you'll have to unlock in the support companies tab). The, you put these division templates in there. For me, I found that martial law was the best (haven't put it in yet in the screen shot)

Now, be carefull: put their reinforcement lvl to high in this tab

they might be under gunned in your campaign (under-equiped in general)

ok thanks, also i select all my units and assign the ones existing at Eritrea (north) to the general with the tank boost but i remove the mountaineers and assign them to another general down south then idk how but i want the mountaineers to have a seperate line of attack into the mountains and have the tanks storm the flat desert areas is that possible without micro managing each division alone? I usually transport like 48 divisions then start attacking or am i doing it wrong and there's a faster way that enables me to just annex them instead of going through this torment

Btw I aint pro but the best advice I got is to play everything on iron mode so if I screw up I actually need to start again. It makes you rethink more about what you could do diffrently. Only thing that you really need to look up is templates which are in pins, everything else is just learning from errors. ✨
