Usually if they're not for a claim and manually justified they disappear within 2 months if they are from a focus, not for claims, it's 2 years. If they are for a core or claim it's permanent

How it works is that reinforce rate is only a probability so if your enemy has low reinforce rate it is more likely that the battle ends before new units can join the battle from reserves

That has been my approach. light SPGs to boost soft attack to stratospheric levels, med tanks to get a stupid amount of breakthrough and a reasonable amount of hard attack.

AFAICT, there are at least two additional issues:
- Railroads and naval ports can only handle so much throughput, even when fully upgraded.
- Only so much supply can be provided to a single tile, even if that tile is a supply hub. You need to spread doomstacks out a bit.
Tbh with air you can just pick whichever gives the best buff in the first stage because you'll never get to max mastery

You're going to need to change that fleet's home base. Do you have a port in the region they can use as home base?

There should also be a button with the name of their current home port, e.g. "Wilhelmshaven". You can manually set your port from a list there. You can also assign them some regions to operate in, click the gear icon to the immediate left of that, and it'll automatically decide which home port is "best" (or at least most central to those regions)

And spgs can get both artillery and armor subdoctrine (if you select the correct ones) bonuses

if its singleplayer replace all mediums with spgs. Stick to cavarly instead of motorized if you dont have mechanized

If you don't want to look at a video, just find 42 rifle stats and 42 art stats and compare atk/cost
Then realize that artillery have terrain debuffs and less buffs
If you want to have offensive inf go 36w, line artyillery is not worth it most of the time so just make full inf
they decrease your org a lot and if you are going for offensive infantry u dont want to have 30 org like tanks divs have. I usually aim for 50 at least
You could make it durable if you are using special forces since they get organazation bonus but I wouldnt recommend more than 2 line arty for that anyway

and then you can add more spgs to add soft atk
and then you can replace inf with mechs

also poland will be hard to get resistance down if it's in allies because of gov in exile

That's where I got advice like "30W armor divisions" from, so it might be slightly out-of-date?
There's a reason why Bitt3rSteel recommended 30w armor divisions and we don't, and it has to do with terrain and reliability
Most of the tanks we suggest here are lower reliability higher stat tanks, maximizing soft attack, hard attack, and breakthrough for maximal effect in low-attrition terrains
This is not what mainstream youtubers suggested back when the video was made
Mountains and marshes are 50 width terrain, and since you can overfill by 1.33 times, this means the maximal combat width that is remotely effective is 33.25
Presumably Bittersteel is making 30 width divisions because he intends to fight a lot in these terrains, but in general we try to avoid them and areas where you use tanks the most, like Barbarossa, don't have a lot of mountains and marshes
Thus why our recommendation is 38 width
(His stated justification was "30W fits wonderfully into 60W forests")
30 width does have maximal offensive stats in forests but with 30 width you lose more equipment that way, which leads to your offensives having to rest and refit
and wonderfully fails in 70w
Actually no it shouldn't be that bad, you're able to fit 3 divisions in 70w terrain and thus the combat width penalties are not that severe

Also, didn't he say something about maximizing stats in forests because your stats in plains are good already? Well, can't have too many stats in plains, but back when there were no assault engineers + he didn't recommend flame tanks performance in forests would have been really bad
Default reich cav, but with whatever support companies it had deleted
His division in video has a 22% penalty to forest combat, and on top of 15% penalty from the terrain type the tank division only operates at 100 - 22 - 15 = 63% effectiveness in forests
By contrast our modern tank divisions would have a 24.7% penalty without these support companies, but these support companies add 20% back, so we're at 80.3% effectiveness
this was the video where Bittersteel recommended an offensive 9/4 mech division DO NOT use that template
Also nowadays your tank division has way more stats, often going up to 1100 soft attack, so yeah that's not a luxury that bittersteel had
