light tanks as recon perhaps? also adds armor
atm autocorrect to all caps
I don’t have the option to pick light tank as recon only add light tank as unit
Mountains ?
width is somewhat mad
dont make it too big, dont make it too small
32 widths are the largest you can fit 2 divisions in mountains
You will get a bit of a penalty, but not too much
Also it is useful for the other terrain widths
Unlike 25
thats what I mean
25 is only good for mountain and marshes
So I’m playing Italy all mountains around me
32 is general purpose and 36 is best for every other terrain type
also he is only on his way
And the nation I plan to invade has a lot of hills
and hasnt enough exp too make it bigger atm
32 width mountaineer blocks
Partially because he wasted 30 on adding artillery
Add more mountaineer battalions
Or if you dont have the cap, maybe inf, but you lose bonuses
I have limit of those I can train in total I think
24 I think if I’m correct
Ah ok if I add 2 then I can still train 3 division
You can increase the cap by having more regular divisions
inf doesnt add to the limit of mountaineers
soooo
Ah ok so 8 mountains?
yes 6-8
And should I keep artillery or remove ? I only have light tank and armor veichle and moterized infantry
You usually just want pure mountaineers
But arty can work
Especially in singleplayer
I deleted most of my my armies in Italy since another guy said they are bad
But I have bounch of militias that I can’t delete some reason
Should I addd them to the front ?
Else it’s only 3 division of mountain I can train and then il either have to go war with that or wait for points to build light tank division that can push from coast to capital ( 2 tiles on plains for fast push )
Is there any way to disable this specific tooltip?
i think its gg for germany dday was succesfull
Hey I accidentally right clicked the unassigned division pop up who knows how to make me get notifications on that again
why 32 width? for hill you have 70+35, for mountain 50+25 and forest 60+30. with width 32 you can stack in hills only 2 division plus 1 additional per tile, but four of width 17 plus 2 additionals per tile. in mountain it only one plus one per tile with 32 width, 2+1 with 17 width. in forest the ratio is again 1+1 with 32 width, but 3+1 with 17. In all three of these terrains is width 17 better if you look on the attack stats
Top right ❗️
hehe
width determines less quality then quantity, but as we all know: " mass is class of its own".
7 mountainers with one arty, engineers and recon, width 17: soft attack 125,6. 16 mountainers only, have a width of 32: soft attack 185,5. In the example of the hills we have 4+2 with width 17: softattack 753,6. with width 32 you have only 556,5 softattack. That is about 26% less and a decent quality amount which you cant level out by quantity if you care about manpower. Additionally the situation becomes worse for each additional tile.
Why is your screen so yellow
and also what j0nathan800 said
Make it a 16/0 or an 18/0
why?
Because it is the largest you can fit 2 units in a mountain with some penalties
this is a whole lot of math to come to the wrong conclusion
honestly amazing work
25 widths suck everywhere but mountains and marshes
36 widths are your best general overall
i spoke of 17
17 is bad I believe
depends on how far you've gone down the mountaineer doctrine tree
without doctrine 16/0 gives you 32 width
with doctrine 18/0 gives you 32.4 width
and you can fit 2 33.2 width divisions in mountains, so you want to stay below that
believe?
Yeah
no religion please 🙂
Anything between 12 and 36 are somewhat usable
It is just that there are better widths
Bigger divisions target enemy divisions more effectively, and in the recent 1.17 update they gave a lot more coordination bonuses, making this even more important. Plus bigger divisions lose less of a portion of their HP per combat, even though the amount of damage they do in that combat remains the same
this is all believing
I never mentioned anything about attack or defense
even if you give them the straight explanation
The smaller ones are defensive in nature while the larger ones are offensive in nature
im clowning on the guy saying 17w is mathematically the best division
Me when I die from lack of breakthrough:
You see 17 fits best, who cares if I die. I die in a perfectly shaped hole
Also I thought people were promoting 24 widths for a bit
As a general overall
Yeah it is much easier to crit if you're a larger division fighting that smaller 17 width division because a bigger portion of your damage goes into the targeted unit as the larger division, making it much easier to exceed breakthrough/defense
especially with all the coordination and initiative in new doctrines
The mythical all-rounder
Imo, the perfect all rounder is the 18 width inf.
CAS makes anything viable. Just wait for the enemy to exhaust themselves and they counterattack well
If you can actually produce enough fighters to get CAS to work that is
Eh, as long as you don't get CAS'd it can counterattack very well in singleplayer
Keyword is counterattack
Yeah
But I'm saying that you might not have the IC to even get that air force you're looking for
I at most put like 15 mils on guns on games I do
Fair
You might not even have 15 mils to put guns on if you're a smaller nation in the path of the Nazi war machine
I rely on my allies to be frontline holders in half of my games
It's been a hot minute since ive played a benelux nation
Yeah I was just playing the Netherlands a few days ago
I recently saw this one guy do a Netherlands game that looked interesting
He went the Benelux path and stacked entrenchment modifers
He had 60+ percent of entrenchment
But he couldn't attack to save his life
I also went the Benelux path
It wasn't that hard after I managed to consolidate my forces behind the Meuse
I had a bunch of 21/0 large unit infantry with grand assault
And then Germany disintegrated in less than a year
He went a full "not a step back" as he invested in a mini maginot
And he didn't have to step back
The Germans just attack and attack and even attack when they're not capable of attacking anymore
But he struggled to step forward
36 at war start, one of them got deleted
I didn't
Wait, you said grand assault
I wasnt promoting 17 width as the perfect one.... if you read above, I said something else. Clowning is for silly people.... bahhhh, how disgusting people....
Still the trends are generally true
a 35 width would be better than a 27 width at offensive actions
What's best sub doctrines for Italy on mass assault?
don't use mass assault
use grand battleplan or superior firepower
decrease autonomy by building in them and lend-lease
Im being an air slave and my germany told me to go mass assault to defend Africa
Are they just dumb then? Or do they have a reason for telling me that
what's the best choice for this
Second option gives the most benefits if it succeeds, first one is historical and most reliable
wdym if it succeeds?
Hungary is a generally stronger partner than romania
yuh
So it is good to give it more manpower
Whatever the newest version is
Then yeah your partners are missing something
They basically transferred the recovery rate buff from mass assault to superior firepower
so mass assault doesn't really give any stats
So superior is the new replacement for old mass right then?
they also split the combat reduction to large unit tactics
how to get more coal?
Just like how you get another resource
Yeah basically
Yea its over
My Romania left and the germany SOMEHOW went into a Civil war
Thanks for the help though
Ill use it next game
If anyone wants to coop and help me learn a bit I’d be super down
not entirely
even now nothing comes quite close to the old mass mob in terms of function
since it is hard to get the combined level of reinforce rate, org recovery, while having guerrilla tactic and human wave
Yeah that much is true
I'd love some mass assault rework
Idk maybe even more width reduction even if it's like 0,1 or 0,2 for inf
how do people manage big tank armys? I usually manage like 6 or less tank divs just fine, but when it grows more than that, I start running into supply issues and stuff stop working.
Hello I'm kind of busy and haven't been playing hoi4 rn so I'll leave this question here
Im new so like under 70 hours
I really don't know how to play properly I can invade small nations like Austria as Hungary but I can't manage against nations with support from the allies or take so long
Or when it actually goes well without joining a faction but either I have to fight the axis for some land issue or keep on fighting in WW2 but idk how to use the navy
spam out like 100 inf divisions and get air supremacy+cas
What does 'Ground Attack Factor' mean?
pushing will be easy then
Your divisions in combat get a stat bonus from ground support planes that participated, at base equal to +25% times the fraction of planes that participated over maximum ground support planes that could've participated
A bonus to ground attack factor is, I think, an increase to that 25% value. Unless I'm confusing it with something else
I think I might be thinking of ground support
Complex game with lots of aspects, but basically, to win against larger powers you need to make encirclements. Simply pushing them back does nothing but take the province they are sitting on. But if you make some expensive tank divisions to make an encirclement, that entire enemy division dies and you actually hurt the enemy.
“Keep men, lose land; land can be taken again. Keep land, lose men; land and men are both lost."
Your goal when fighting larger powers is not to outright push them back to their capital and win, it’s taking losses slower than your enemy until one side can’t replace them.
As for the expensive tank division itself, around a 30 width medium tank division mixed with motorized. Keep infantry defensive with engineers and a width of like 20. Do not push with infantry, do not battleplan.
Alright I'll try to do this thanks for the help
How do i fix the supplies here? am i cooked? :D or do i just have too many divisions placed there?
Also another question is how to industrialize
It's either that I have a bunch of civs with no mils or its that I have no resources
You gotta capture more rail hubs near the front, or straight up make one at this point.
I’ll use the USSR as an example on how to industrialize.
First step, civs. What you want to do is find states with decent infrastructure but low slots, USSR has a ton that’s 2 open building slots but 60% infrastructure. You want civs, but you don’t want to build them in areas you’re going to build infra anyways later.
Second step, infra. Find a state with a lot of building slots, the more the merrier. Five or more open slots makes it worth it 100% of the time. USSR has Stalingrad and a ton of these states in eastern Ukraine, PERFECT to build infrastructure in. Once a state has 100% infra, start building civs. Infra buffs building time so in states where you can fit more buildings this is key.
Third step, mils. After focusing a couple states to be 100% infra civ, start making mils a few years in advance. You still want to prioritize the states with the most building slots and be building infrastructure all the while, but it’s just step 2 but civs.
TO LONG DIDNT READ VERISON 🥱:
find state with lots of building slots, pref over four. Make infrastructure. When infra maxed, make civs. When war coming up, do same thing but with mils.
When low on resources just trade them in. It’s okay to have resource deficit of like 2 but if your gonna trade, might as well use the full 8 of that resource you get.
Alright man thank you
So I build civs in the small states first and also build infra on the big ones then once they're done build civs and when war comes do the same thing but mils
Yup!
Maybe build mils before the war starts, military factories need time to gain productivity.
also maybe build a land warfare facility somewhere in the middle, particularly if you want tanks
you need to start building mils early
for countries that enter war in 1939 you need start building mils by late 1936
ussr is late 1937
can anyone help me i just downloaded the game and need some help with it (or a good youtube video)
ive managed to fix it by capturing their hubs ;) thanks
larrrrp
Greed more. Your snowball potential as the USSR is huge, I love civ greeding as USSR you have so much land to build mils in.
not really larp
can anyone help me i just downloaded the game and need some help with it (or a good youtube video)
Its statistically better to build mils earlier
will air superiority and naval strikes affect Naval Dominance any way?
Hello, I've got a farily basic question. How do I invite Germany into my faction for the big entente achievement? it says world tension needs to be at 80%, but it never rached that. Beat the soviets and japanese already
Is my only choice to turn communist/fascist and fight the germans that way?
L larps
every civ takes ~6 years to payoff 10800/5x365
yes
Didn't know always built civs untie 1938/1939 as Soviets.
air superiority is a multiplier to your dominance
naval dominance??
Well you won't get punished for it since germany with economy of conquest is a ticking time bomb that will kill itself so you can get away with only civs challenge
Atleast u can convert civs
conversion is L larps
production cap system makes building mils early and gaining efficiency a necessity
the only reason for civ building in the early game is there is usually a big jump between 1936 and 1939-1940 equipment tiers
you will always want to upgrade the production lines so it will kill production efficiency so it is kind of like building a new mil
Actually I wanted to ask where did the conversion research gone
there is no downside to having tons of stockpile though
But all of this is really interesting too
integrated with the cap
Especially as mao china's human wave
1936 fighter vs 1940 fighter trades
about 5:1
Against Ai it's even bigger
They often just spam 1936 crap until 1947
I love greed. I’m in it for the long game. Not only that, but I can use civs for military things like making forts and AA and more and better rail. Early 1940 is still civ time.
I think paradox should make civ cost 10800->7200 so it makes sense to build them
way too many game mechanics are just balanced on "vibes" and nobody cares to actually make them feel like you are actually having a tradeoff or playing a gambit
meta is so straight forward it is boring
for example split the infra to two new buildings that cost half as infra and one of them only gives construction speed boost and the other only gives resource gain efficiency so it actually makes sense to "improve infrastructure"
if your state has less than ~6 free slots in the game start it makes no sense to build infra as of now
is it because i set slovakia as puppet?
as germany, is it possible to invade poland before the allies guarantee it, while also getting austria and czechoslovakia?
Guys, how do I upgrade divisions in hoi3
justify war goal on poland as soon as possible at the game start
Most mp serves ban it
blud probably a SP player
yeah i'm still learning, so it'll be SP for the forseeable future
might be a stupid question but what path for china is historical?
are SPG tanks good to use?
What
there is a mod that adds in assault gun tanks
I mean they seem good
Considering they're basically expanded flame tanks
yes ik
i do wanna use assault gun tanks to destroy Ussr and usas tank fleet
ill make a DIV full of Assault gun tanks
They're support companies, no?
whats a good mountaineer template?
both light and heavy
18 mountaineer with width reduction has 32.4 combat width
you can fit 2 of them in mountains (2x32.4=64.8)
engineer, support aa, support arty, rangers, medium flame tanks with fuel depots
GBP is more attack oriented with planning bonus otherwise SFP
yeah i want attack orientated
what do against expert ai flame tanks as soviets I tried anti tank and air and got destroyed
they have enough medium flame tanks for basically the entire front
You don't need at against flame tanks. Fts are a support company they add no hardness
And there is no counter per say than having better divs than theirs, which is easy enough
You canput support ft in all divs if you build a very cheap one too btw
Fts? Ft mod 31? idk how to spell it
Fuel drums ? Just stack breakthrough on the flametank, you need it in mountaineers and drums are basically useless
Don't put fuel drums in your flame tank, stack as much breakthrough as you can so that your mountaineers get enough to push
okay got it
flame tanks seem more late game
long to research then gotta get producing them
- special research
The special project is the shortest I think
Also only use medium ft
so uhh nationalist spain is losing their civil war badly because I was busy taking poland, should I just let them die?
lil bro you get 0 stats from a battalion when a divison runs out of fuel
which you will certainly do with your 4km mountaineers
You don't run out of fuel if you don't snake out of supply lines + you still get the modifers of the company
lol
an offensive divison is guaranteed to get out of supply zones because it is pushing 😀
Fuel drums = you'll enjoy the 4 base brk when you run around in no supply area for a limited time
Brk = you'll be able to push more efficiently until out of furl which won't happen if you don't snake mindlessly or fight in no supply areas
There's a good reason brk stacking in meta
That's just not true ?
@grok show this goyim out of fuel penalties
you can tolerate fuel situation with tanks as even a slow tank ~6km is 50% faster than inf and they will finish the combat with stacked soft attack & breakthrough and will be there in no time
Inf don't take penalities, you just won't get the brk stat and will be speed capped
yeah out of fuel penalty only applies to support flame but having stats is better than having none
where the HELL did my general go
Then again, no point having fuel if it doesn't allow you to enjoy stats with it
And youneed the brk
And you shouldn't snake out of your supply lines
Fuel drums dont give stats
it gives more fuel = more time
no
it uses more fuel
but allows them to go longer
distances
won't even fall for ts bait blud
For no stats
it only adds 100 fuel and -0.2km speed
I mean, if you want to outrunsupply, which you should avoid doing, and enjoy a whooping 8brk bonus for a while, go ahead
I prefer to play smart and enjoy my 35-70 brk bonus to allow me to melt walls of divs and not run out of fuel because I follow supply lines or don't lose my time in wastelands
You get exactly 10 hours of extra fuel if you max fuel drums on your flame tanks
They do almost nothing
Its literally easier to wait for the rail to be converted
10 hours???
Why even bother 💀
If you do it so late
Inf is good enough
Tanks are wholly unecessary
to push normal inf cuz the AI is dumb
That doesnt make a lot of sense
if AI is dumb, why need tanks
when inf pushes just fine
oh well not gonna tell you how you waste your IC
so go and make your advanced medium tank
I already have too much
factories that I don't use
so
and have like
more than needed guns so
every fuel drum adds 100, meds use 2 per hour so that's 25 hours per one
Thats one battalion doesnt this add up?
Where are you even getting these numbers from, can u show a screenshot
Could someone please send me the original folder for the land cruiser privately?
Also werent u the guy that ragequit bittersteel because you were wrong?
Also your mech uses fuel
Like what are you even saying
never happened award
and it would be keyed if it had happened actually
Alr 💀
Your the same bum
HE LEFT THE SERVER
😂 😂 😂 😂
@dusty sandal we got him
oh no he just blocked me
that makes it even funnier
To be fair he uses it in mountaineers
But yes, still dumb as you shouldn't just run around in no supply area except if the enemy's also out of supply, in which case the lack of fuel will prove to be a nothingburger
This is just a guy that likes spreading misinformation for fun and ragequits the second hes questioned
hes a fking bum
Point still stands, like 10 hours of fuel woooooow
Thats gonna change so much
like there is button for this: its called extra supply
gives full supply for 72 hours
Is the conversion glitch still working?
str8 up tweaking
u mean tank printing
It's more for mountaineers
But still, fuel to fuel no stats ? Incredibly useless
nope
yeah kind of
ah so he is reading my messages
maybe shut yo ass up
Chill out guys
Are there any italy puppets mod in workshop?
Like similar to the RKs mod
i have festung ausgabe but it appears only after i conquered UK
what's the world tension threshold for anschluss and czechslovakia?
just got unbanned and won't get muted because of a golem who does it for free
I think anchuluss creates 8% idk about the checz
Four year plan*
four year plan is better if you know how to deal with economy of conquest
I somewhat do but don't at the same time
js shut up lil bro. It isn't even about flames in general js flames for infantry 🥱
basically, do you know how to cap either uk or soviet before 1943 ? if the answer's yes, you don't need to do something else than 4yp
without fuel drums you have 4 days of fuel with fuel drums you have ~12 days it's not that deep 🙏🏿
with durms you have fuel, without drums you have stats
you just need to not be stupid with where you stand to use the more stats
because 8brk isn't gonna do it
unc u don't get fuel from marshall 😭
Yes I do but my friend is UK
funily enough, you can get it on generals too
and he is new so
then cap soviet
Alr
Ok so first I'm lil bro then im unc get yo words straight
🥱

So I'm (noob player , under 50hrs) playing as UK historical. I find I'm spending most of 36-outbreak if the war refitting destroyers. I've made no new ships save 1 aircraft carrier and one or 2 destroyers/cruisers.
I split & refitted DDs to either hunt subs or with the main fleet- radar and Torp II. Is this a sensible use of navy dockyards before the war?
Dont refit dds
Thats a whole waste of time
make new dds
And I guess if you really want you can refit your battleships?
im new to the game and idk how can i assign forces to a naval invation after lets say they invade fail and go back and then idk how to assign new units to atack and i cant find to tutorial to help with that can someone pls help?
Ok thanks, I'll try that. I heard somewhere to add extra AA to BS, is that a thing?
Oh yea it is
Basically, naval bombers will target capital ships first
so if you are fighting with capital ships in the battle, basically, every time, they should have the most amount of AA
Just redraw the order or click the buttom with the person and a plus next to him
to add to that, there's a priority target on carriers and higher cost ships, that's why having a few super heavy battleships with loads of AA is good if you use carriers, as they'll attract and shoot down enemy planes that would otherwise prioritize carriers
The 4th buttom from the right
I believe this was modified recently too, but i don't know about the details of it
i tried but it tells me i can only do like 2 at once and after i do it idk how to assign more troops after they failed
Then you need naval invasion techs
Those actually matter now
ok thx
i conquered Syria, how do I get it as core
do I have to like suppress them
and if so how
Who are you playing as
I see YouTubers make a 1 battalion cavalry regiment and just spam deploy them in the occupied territories?
Lebanon
why
Through formables
Cuz coring simply is a mechanic limited to certain focuses and decisions
its not something every country can do
And not to every state
Cores are very limited, not like in eu4
I cab form Arabia
You need to set your garrison template to this template, go into occupied territories in your political tab
Oh right lebanon can do that
Check the requirements for it
maybe it includes syria idk
I need the Arabian peninsula
which I think includes Syria
the 1 battalion cavalry?
yes
Syria is not on the arabian penninsula 💀
Thats just arabia, yemen, oman, bahrain, the UAE and Quatar
counts for Arabia
oh well
yeah but it's in Arabia Syria
Is there a way I can leave the allies or do I seriously have to wait for Berlin to fall
damn the French locked me into the allies
see we shouldve negotiated our independence sooner than 1943
well 1938 but thank God we didn't take that deal
is complicance important
Yes
so keep compliance high and resistance low
yes
how do I control their factories
wdym
it says I control 25.1% of Syria's factories
That means that of all factories that are in syrian cores controlled by you, you get 25%
you can increase that amount by using other garrison laws and compliance
hence compliance is important
should I switch the Liberated Workers or Local Police Force
I get more factories out of Liberated Workers actually
Liberated workers if you have access to it
Best occupation law by far
ight
ight
If this is my convert what should be my base
cheapest main gun 0.5 ic
dude Lebanon is working
Point of conversion is to save resources with a small amount of IC loss
Ok can u show what my base design should look like
what to do if Iraq is guaranteed by the UK and I'm in the allies
UK gets a wargoal on Iraq
going commie with manpower bonuses and joining comintern is probably better than allies
I'm locked into allies
France put me in and WW2 started before I became independent
I'll play lebanon with volunteers trying to get independent before ww2
dude I singlehandedly captured Nanking and I got from that whole campaign
100 autonomy
20 convoys lend lease in WW2
70 a month
oh and I'm mass producing convoys
what type of puppet are you at the game start?
colony
but you're 500/1000
focus order I'm happy with
but even though you're going down the democracy path you should be communist
my current situation
there are 2 schools of thought
1: max armament then go down to Foreign Expedition
or Go down to Foreign Expedition then Max Armament
foreign expedition changes the divisions you need to send volunteers from 30 to 11
I just had a thought. Assuming you have the fuel, a good way to use up obsolete aircraft is to assign them to permanent pilot exercises and rack up air experience?
that's what I do with Bulgaria
but instead of air I use army
basically just permanently train them until I can form the Salonika agreement
so I can change my divisions and get the required manpower and guns to destroy the IMRO
how do i defend against german air power playing historical poland with the new patch?
anti air support doesn't seem to help much anymore
you probably need like a bunch of it
so like 9/1 with anti air instead of arti? instead of 9/0?
I don't really know how much that'll help but it should help a little
poland is already desperately short on everything lol. are you sure it'll help XD
you can't nullify it but you can probably do considerate numbers to German Aircraft
tbf theres not much you can do
as Poland you start the game basically in a hurry
you need to like Maximize German Aircraft casualties but Minimize Losses
since you're still realistically in deficit
like Poland isn't building an air force
nor are they building a good enough AA like
spread
lol no. building anything air is a big waste XD
yeah
for Poland at least
i'm already struggling with 9/0... dunno if i can afford 9/1
well only one way to find out
Aren't there like AA Mods for tanks and ships?
I don't use tanks since I play Lebanon and Bulgaria
and for ships I just spam convoys and subs
hey yalls
but they definitely exist
not if you're playing vanilla cause you didn't buy the DLCs lol
hello
is using the lend lease and international market system good to use as Estonia?
oh shit those are DLC locked?
yeaaaaa
as Estonia you could probably build up a good industry at some point but if you're running short definitely
alr
like as Lebanon I built up a decent industry
i always buy and get lend lease
Nothing has changed regarding CAS and AA
I love stealing Syrian factories
I have 16 factories and building 3
huh? i seem to be taking tons more dmg than i did before the patch
@swift burrow
so i should stick with 9/0 and not 9/1?
are u trying to get 30 minutes of hel?
i mean you can
no that's a 1939 start
but like why
i've got a 1936 start
oh
becus i can
I mean fair
why
oh
i like using the new stuff in hoi4
historical poland?
how to completely Destroy Iraq
yea
I have 10 9/0 divisions with Engineer II
and 3 more on the way
is that enough
I'm Lebanon
just get a lot of infantry and static aa
u could also put some anti tank
static aa huh
in divs
the one u build in states
lol i don't have the production for that
thats static aa
for anti tanks i mean
then restart
support anti tank
speaking of should I build those as Lebanon
and forts on my coast?
just dont play lebanon
wait...
its basically impossible
nah dude it's my home country
you mean support anti air AND support anti tanks
in.. poland??
and 3 being built
thats tannu tuva numbers
went from 0 → 16 factories by 1940
could be quicker
oh no they all have no divisions
and ur a colony too
but france?
im gonna buy and get lend lease with ALL techs and equipments as Estonia
dude just wait for France to fall
but now ur eternally at war with them
yeah I did
nonhist is on?
why?
I said no to free France occupation
shouldve told me
Syria went under Vichy
and I'm already in the allies
so I declared on Syria
and now should I declare on Iraq?
apparently I have a better industry than New Zealand
that is still tannu tuva numbers
arent they guaranteed
by the UK
btw does lebanon have some formable?
but I can justify on them for some reason
2
like any formable
al andalus?
mesopotamia and Arabia
how much stuff should i buy lend lease or get production licenses from other nations as Estonia?
how much is a decent amount of factories
around 30-40
manageable honestly
I'm just trapped in perpetual lack of resources
which is why I need to fight Iraq
is 13 9/0 divisions with Engineer II enough
answer this
I'm making submarines
should I stop
and full focus on convoys
I don't think 1936 Subs are gonna do much for ne
cuz 200 convoys Is Ok
but I can always make more

Will my austro hungarian vassals automatically do the joint focus tree
yeah
guys Italy and Germany are at South Lebanon and Damascus
the allies just let them pass through Mandatory Palestine and Transjordan
That's not it. I modified the original folder and now I can't play multiplayer.
so now I basically have to hold the entire front with Italy
as lebanon
can I be saved
You already have more IC than you can deploy with your infantry divisions. This tank costs 1 steel. Literally cheaper than 1936 guns
What was the exact reason you abandoned fascist lebanon path?
fascist is unplayable
you dont have enough core pop
how do i get supply to a front line in africa
this continent has no railroads or infastructure
i couldnt justify on syria
main problem
18 factories can only get you somewhere
how?
syria flips fascist after france falls
how do i beat china as japan?

I'll do camel tanks
U can verify file integrity from steam then
dude you gotta help me figure out like a perfect way to play this
for fututre runs do i go for mesopotamia or Arabia
Whats the earliest you can get treaty with ussr? Im playing vanilla just got the game a few days ago
how do i beat china as japan
You build supply hubs if you fail to reach another hub. You can also go down the coast and make ports as mini supply hubs. The interior just lacks a lot of supply hubs which means you more than likely will have to build some
Or you just rush down the existing supply hubs
i capitulated
whats the best research priority for lebanon
screw it im adding the all puppets free mod
i seriously cant anymore
they capitulated
ez work
thats the end of this world cause im not fighting the soviet american alliance
I've already done that and it says it's fine, but I still can't get it to work.
guys, could you guys give me any tips to invade the soviet union as germany?
someone HELP
what do i do
when i need 50% world tension to start justifying
but its only 42%
at 1945
funniest thing is that im literally playing napoleonic france 😭
can I even design Medium tanks without using tungsten?
Create a faction and get this
22 soft for no tungsten
Napoleon france doesn't get a faction from what I remember
Hey I’m playing the SU in a historical game will I have to declare war on the finish or will the German reich declare on me
Finnish Continuation war comes anyway in 1941
They will btw
declare war
on you
either way in 41
Don’t I need to complete the focus to declare war on Finland
And ok
So no matter what I’ll be at war with the fins
Yes

What's a easy way to use navy

Hello! I'm a new player (~500 hours) and have only played singleplayer. I have a few questions about multiplayer, since I would like to play. First, how much of a time commitment is it? What year does the average game (hist and alt-hist) go to? How long does it take to reach 1945 (3 hours? 5 hours? 8 hours?). Also, are the strategies very different from typical singleplayer strats that I've been using? (9-1 or 7-2 infantry, 30 width armored, spam air attack on fighters), or will those strats still work somewhat well in multiplayer?
Its 3 tick or 4 ticks normally from what I have seen
Good to know
can be cheaper, use secondary HMG instead of canon (don't need the hard atk anyway) and use the bogie suspension to save up 3 ic
each game is around 6 hours
hist ends around 43
alt hist prob the same
1945 is prob like 7-8 hours of playtime
strats are VERY VERY different
those infantry templates are bad
either frontline holders or just battleplanning inf
time commitment depends on the mod
full on vanilla will play between 8pm and 1-2am
most vanilla+ mods mak the game go faster so expect a 4-5hr game
some big mods make it slower to some extent
overhaul it depends on mods, the host and the average speed
usually 36w for tanks, those fighters are close enough ig
varies per nation
and also
as for the templates it depends on the lobby too, competitive or serious mp will have very optimized templates while casual mp will have more liberties
if they say a game starts at 8:30 it will start at 9:00
i am yet to see a game that starts at the designated time
was this with graveyard of empires
That's it?
NCNS
Can anyone help me with this issue I have where whenever I play Germany in a mod all of the plane models and icons are replaced with this one? It only ever happens to germany for some reason
Should I use support AA as poland in my infantry
That is most likely a mod-side issue regarding graphics
Yes. You should use support AA with infantry
I just thought it was one of the DLC considering it only ever happens to germany
Yes. You should always have them with your tank divisions
what are good units for South Africa? 10 CW? (around Belgium congo)
As far as I know, 16 - 20 combat width is generally recommended for Africa. You can go lower, but I wouldn't say as low as 10 combat width unless they are defensive infantry and you have more of those divisions
Hey can someone tell me where the Molotov line and the Stalin line’s are and which ones border the third reich
Aka mustache man territory
if im not misaken, the molotov line is set up in the area of poland you annex, the stalin line is set up east of the dnieper in ukraine
molotov line is closest to germany
I clicked on allow volunteer work why can't I send volunteers to Spain as franxe
i think there is a focus you have to do to be able to intervene in the spanish civil war
I did
The focus
which side are you trying to support
The og spain
do you have enough divisions? you have to have atleast 30 to send volunteers
I have 174
100 of them are 2 widths
What Combat With should my Tanks have?
36-38w
I make mine 30 width and that usually works well for me in most situations
here
why use heavys
To break Maginot
Why td
Can u help me
with what?
Im playing Sheeps Ai
Dw i clicked on wrong descison
heavy tanks going through mountain tiles+river 😭
no I used the Tanks in Plains
Bro im not stupid
then why say this
Okay you're playing sheep ai, so why go through maginot
French tds are going to be sitting on lvl 10 forta
Its easier then to go through Swiss or Benelux
false
I Broke them
the benelux is easy
??? Wtf
no they each have 50 Divs
Benelux is brain off ez
they dont have reinforce rate
and dont forget Puppets
Yo i got a question why is any time i make a navy its legit a black hole for my man power like its the only thing that can turn 3 million to 0 in 10 minutes...
they have air
only like 5 ever see battle
im only 30 on air
you can overrun
true
Bro but then I have to go for Mediums SP
put more on planes
(Late game built)
?
im putting them rn
oml
You don't even need air to break benelux in sheep what
Grind vet tanks in Spain, put line aa in, and blow them up
air makes things babycakes
Bro UK has 4k
I did
?
I only have 2K
I also got Vet in Jap
15 Tanks
How tf are you struggling with vet tanks then, none of this is adding up
then why
how does one break maginot but not benelux
Bro asked why TD
Maginot is always easier
?
explain the logic rq
.
ohh
Instead of Focusing Poland day 1
you can push France day 1
If you got France
you can kill Benelux easier
Poland easier
Norway easier
and you can prepare to Invade or make DDay wall in 1939
instead of 40
DDay wall in 39 😭
just for preparing
Maginot is easy to Break
since France Ai is overwhelmd
just Pinn everything like ww1
and youre in Paris
and if you have Problems go through Swiss
with Mounetniers and Paratroopers
those who do not utilize the swiss gold
Bro Swiss Gold wasnt avaiable for me in that game
and Id rather get Civs then waste days on my Focus
(and Mils)
Swiss Gold is good
But if they just break the deal
youre forced to take them
Breaking Maginot is easier because you don't have to wait for 28 days or make another justification
but other than that no
Breaking Maginot>Going through Benelux
BUT STILL
Im asking for Reliabilty
😩
is 40-50 good for Heavy TD?
That's fine
above like 30 is fine
idk
do you attrition?
if you go into low supply and mountains and jungles constantly then make it 100% so you lose none to attrition
if not then it doesnt matter
Ok
in a medium tank design is better having more soft attack or breaktroutht
Breakthrough
Usually you want to have your main force be made of medium tanks and then have one heavy td to act as both piercing and armor meme
oh alright
thanks
I'm unfamiliar with the new navy mechanics. Playing as USA, I have lvl 10 naval base in the philippines with a naval supply hub but it's not refueling my navy and giving me range. I lost guam and now I'm stuck in the whole region. Help pls
hello i literally downloaded the game 2 days ago i have like an hour and am playing as germany cus they told me is the easiest for beginners, im trying to anschluss austria but it says i need both the wehrmacht reorganized and Heeds concerns but i can only choose one, how does it work?
do amtracs contribute to special forces cap?
do you have the navy set to automatically change its naval base depending on the mission?
I do not
oh my god. thank you. what a silly change
Hey can someone tell me? How do i get the anschluss
I dont understand
Like i have 30 infantry divisions and i cant do it
same problem but i cant even unlock the focus
Look at the focus. Your army has to be x times bigger than Austria's. Consider creating more divisions.
23 times bigger
But how do i know how many divisions austria has
bruh france wants to invade me cuz i remitiralized rinland
what do i do
You don't but don't really need to. Having 1M fielded manpower is a definite way of having a larger army.
whats 1m manpower in divisions
There's the army ledger that will tell you but I'd say that 1M fielded manpower is probably 120 18 combat width divisions
?
is bro playing ahistorical?
prob
no
There's no way they would try to invade you for remilitarizing the rhineland if ur playing historical
delete all your army and capitulate to france
what
france will change your ideology to democratic
tha sucks
you will be democratic and have access to the historical focuses
what does adding a chief to a military staff do? i put keitel and goering from my knowlage of the historical situation but what does it do?
oh and i have divisions with no orders and idk what to tell them
like take a vacation or smth idk
Gives certain bonuses to your divisions
A "vacation" would be assigning them to a frontline that you need to defend or have them on a fallback line that is out of your way
did i do a good choice or do i change them?
does anyone here have any tips for playing iraq without the GoE dlc
Assist whatever faction you want to help
Note the Axis is very unlikely to reach and help you. Even if they do, Italy tends to blunder all of their gains
No real right answer. All depends on what you want to do with your army. If you have an infantry army, do infantry bonuses. If you have a tank army, do tank bonuses, etc.
ok thank you
oi italiano?
Si lol

can someone explain "manpower" cuz i understand how to use it but not how to keep it over 0
how do i get my soldiers to do more damage in battles. what are the stuff that increases the attack and decreases and there are any easy solutions for solving this im currently playing a normal france ww1 game october 1914
Do not train too many divisions.
Keep a good buffer.
Just because you have some manpower, it doesn't mean you have to use all of it as soon as you get them.
You can increase your conscription law and you can check your focus tree for more manpower.
And do not force your army to fight losing battles.
Running into the Maginot-Line without preparation destroys you - for example.
aight
thx ill keep that in mind
And some nations are small.
They don't really have much manpower to begin with.
So be careful with that too. ^^'
iam new only things i have tried are germany and italy
Manpower shouldn't be an issue then.
You can get more manpower when you core states.
Italy can form Greater Italy, coring surrounding land or reclaim Rome.
And Germany can core parts of Poland and Luxembourg and the part of France via focus.
So there's that too.
Cores don't need garrison. So you get them and the extra population.
also is there a way to make new saves faster like not having to manually add all templates again
I believe you can save like plane, ships and tank designs.
But not army templates.
aight
.
I don't play any WW1 mods.
I guess make good use of support companies and air support.
Possibly trying to get more tanky divisions eventually.
Keeping gun and artillery research up to time.
ok thx
does this mean i can cross over?
yes
Do I need tanjs as poland in 1939
Yes
