Basic explanation of the game the only top tabs you need to care about are focus tree production and constitution and deployment for now
In Construction you have factories Green ones which are mills and Orange factories which are civs this is all you need to care about in construction for now - civs make you build stuff faster and mills give you a better Millitary industry.
In production you have your millitary industry for each mill you have built you can assign 1 to your industry the game starts you of producing equipment so you don’t need to change any of this you just up the values if your able to
Focus tree you click on your flag in the top left and click on the big box this is just what lets your country do political stuff over time the description of the focus tells you what it does which can be seen by clicking on it
In deployment this is how you get extra units you can click train unit to start training units you then assign it to a tile and then once trained and equipped it will deploy

There’s a lot more to this and explaining and learning the game can be tricky and therefore I recommend you watch alot of other people play the game as you learn as it will speed up your process

Hello, I am not THE most experienced player, but how is it even possible to win the start of game Mongol-Japan border skirmish as Mongolia on historical? You don't really have any way to get out of using any other division template but Calvary and 90 days isn't enough to do more than build one fort, adjust battalion count per division, and get the defense army advisor, which is never enough. If you want to be a defensive-focused Finland (assuming this is just a hist Finland gameplay), Go for:

Main Doctrine: Superior Firepower

Infantry subdoctrine: Great War Infantry (pure defensive) or Large Unit Tactics (if you're planning on attack-defense + breakthroughs and good at micro)

Artillery & Combat Support subdoctrine: Field Engineering (great engineer bonuses), or if you're struggling with Soviet tanks, Anti-Tank Frontline (though, you won't be needing this if you're atleast okay with stuff)

Armor subdoctrine: you won't be building tanks anytime soon, but if you are, then you can go for Streamlined Deployment or Armored Infantry Support. Nothing wrong with the two in SP, of course.

Operations subdoctrine: either Grand Assault (for planning offensive bonuses) or Desperate Defense if you need the additional manpower

Usually I manage to hold onto Finland with the 10w infantry mixed in with specialized 18-24 w infantry for attacking (cus I find the 36w incredibly expensive, manpower and industry wise)

And yes, support arty + AA + engineers is an already alright support company build

Great War infantry is good because it stacks 25% defense on top of support company bonuses (20%+ soft attack with support artillery and alright entrenchment bonuses), especially since I use Field Hospital as well in my divs.

But sure, if you want a strong inf, then Defensive Postures is a great choice. Also provides direct soft attack to infantry on top of strong entrenchment and entrenchment speed bonuses.

just get mech or stay with cav

swap the support arty for support AA

Heyho, new player here

I am playing facist brazil to learn the game and economics a bit better as well as managing troops

But i really struggle to even win terrain against venezuela, apperently bc of the lack of supplies

How can I get besser supplies there? or am I doin something wrong?
