are you using your aircraft for close air support + air superiority? actually using the battleplans is very bad in most cases especially in ethiopia. it is good to draw them up as you get bonuses, but then you need to manually control your troops for maximum efficiency.

for example, try to push from areas where multiple tiles can attack at the same time, and in favourable terrain (so not mountains or a river crossing if it can be helped). you can also micro to pin enemy troops in place when they try to reinforce. keep an eye on tiles near to the one you are attacking and if you see a unit model walking to reinforce, have one of your divisions attack it.

supply also looks to be an issue, particularly in the area just north of addis ababa where you have a bunch of troops with a red fuel can indicator. this means they are much less effective than normal. to increase your supply you can do things like build railways/supply hubs (excessive in this case), increasing motorisation, or even assigning fewer troops to this area - it is likely that one or two of your better performing troops on this tile will be more effective than the dozen that you have on it presently.

lots of air support, find any gaps or weak points due to low supply and push through those with armored divs, if you can take advantage of enough of those points, attempt to encircle and kill as many groups as you can, you can even attempt to intentionally leave a gap in your lines to trap some, then close the gap and encircle
