is there a mod that automates pausing and unpausing at certain intervals? My buddy is annoying as hell (he plays this game like he's a korean in a starcraft match) and it'd be nice to have a mod that I can setup with autopause intervals.

Example: I could set it at the beginning of a match to stay paused for 10 minutes for initial setup, then unpause and go at a set speed (probs 3) for a month, pause for 2 minutes at the 1st of every month from there on out. Host can still pause/unpause at will if necessary or change the speed for when large wars happen.

Does a mod like that exist? If not would it even be possible to make?

running into something weird with current version. Cannot restrict certain equipment for divisions - if i restrict like AT it just checks again and the division continous being supplied.

Seems like it applies only for radio equipment and AT where it does not work - neat. Rest is fine. For a super small country this is a hassle seems like.

Generally hoi4 modding is a very time consuming thing. So many things that you need to keep in mind to mod simple things in and then you need to restart the game every time

For me it’s just having the drive to spend the time on it and being creative and getting all the visuals etc

yeah that's kind of the point, though infrastructure is still useful for troop movement

so you may have no supply issues in the middle of africa but your troops will still move slowly and take attrition because of terrain

I'm trying to make a mod with edge.hoi4modding.com and I want to make an event that is triggered by a focus tree from Austria. And Germany should get the event and be given the opportunity to choose whether it wants a non-aggression pact with Austria or not. Can someone tell me how to do that? I have the event and the focus but i dont know how to send Germany that event through this focus.

update on my mod, even though i have never once mentioned it here, i have made progress, and idk what i even did but it works now i think

also the ocean is controled by france, idk why, need to check my files

once i do that and some tweaks it should be done, tho i need to find a way to remove all nations so i can make this a map template, one which i can use for a much larger mod that i have planed

probably just delete the nation files and have one nation controll all states for my template

just wanna mention it took me like 3 days of manualy editing the base game hoi4 province file to line up with the land

(still need to fix the ocean tiles as i just extended many so there are some abnormally large ocean tiles)

Don't know what you've tried, but I'd definitely check out the Beautiful States Reloaded mod for an enhanced vanilla experience. There are a few good nation specific mods for USSR and Italy focus trees too, but beyond RD56 I don't really know any mods that overhaul focus trees
