I used to use IMM to launch multiple copies of hoi4 at once but I found out you could just do that by opening the launcher exe in the install folder

To solve the problem of the forum site not opening in kaiserredux mode, the -OpenGL code had to be written, but the same error occurs.

If you want everyones changes to sync to everyone at once youd need to constantly push but otherwise everyone can work on different parts of the mod and push their changes to the repo
Like “state_106” instead of the state name? That would be because you replaced the state name localization and dont have all the required ones, or are using a outdated file which doesnt have localization for every state

scripted guis are so damn cool, made this one which works with my state integration system to display the status of your states, fades from grey to blue when youre integrating them, and turns red when theres resistance to integration
hey, is there a mod with icons for some common variant tanks and maybe aeroplanes? I mean those things in the build screen, when I design a Su-122, I'd like the icon to look like it too... I think it would be a little QL improvement too, so you can see at glance which tanks are which etc. Mainly for the major countries. I know you can choose from a bunch of (weird) alternatives, but most of them look kinda wrong in many cases

your localisation file also can load before vanilla's (vanilla loc overwriting yours), so if changing of encoding not helped, try to rename loc filename the way it will be after vanilla's one by alphabet

You can try uninstall/reinstall which works better and faster than verification for HOI
and you can try clearing the Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV folder (except the saves folder if you wanna keep those)

I want to add excess thrust to speed like it used to be. I found in the describes.lua where the modifier for adding thrust to agility is.

I also reverted to Avalanche build and found the one for speed - THRUST_WEIGHT_SPEED_FACTOR = 3
I added the speed one to my mod but it does not do anything.
I researched the lua files and from what I read the THRUST_WEIGHT_AGILITY_FACTOR = 0.5 is referencing a function somewhere else in the code that is not directly accessible for modding. I also did a notepad++ search of the Hoi4 folder and did not find another file with it.
So am I correct that the THRUST_WEIGHT_SPEED_FACTOR is not working because the formula is removed from the code? Is the file where the code for the THRUST_WEIGHT_AGILITY_FACTOR is located inaccessible? If it is accessible where is it located? If it is not accessible, is it possible to add a formula to add excess thrust to speed, and what is a good file to look at for an example?

wanted to edit herinrich himmler, so I literally copied his code from base game and added some stuff that I wanted him to do, but now there are those errors:

If someone has the trait Oldenburg they get 30+ relations with someone with the Oldenburg trait or 20+ with someone with the holstein-gottorp trait

then do promote_character = GER_wilhelm_ii as the effect of the event
regular wilhelm character doesn't have leader traits so you'll have to add those manually

I made a new plane tech that I want to assign to multiple categories, plane_special_module_small, plane_special_module_medium, plane_special_module_large . I followed the instructions on the wiki to put the catagories in brackets but that didn't work.

If so, tell us how you do it, because when I tried to use mapgen to create a map, my transitions from land to water caused the game to crash (In the debug mode, the game allows me to look at the map, but when choosing a country, it also crashes).
So is there any other tool for creating maps, or is it necessary to make them manually?
