changing a city name requires setting up a trigger in the on_actions folder. That can be done using the on_state_change trigger. I would recommend checking out any mod that does a similar thing, such as "dynamic states and cities rename" and copying their code

Province buildings should prob be moved inside the buildings block. 211 has a broken block, the other ones naval base is outside the building block

whenever i convert it to UTF8 BOM the game doesnt launch
but when i get it back to UTF8 the game launches but then crashes and shows me this in error log
well i managed to fix it by adding l_english on top, which i forgot to do.

So, when I created a mod, and wanted to test is it even works, I simply launched it, but when everything loaded, it seems, my mod "dissapeared", nothing changed at all, BUT when I replaced some other submode for rt56 files, with mine, and lanuched it, it worked. How to fix it ?

Hi, I have a problem with making a new country (I followed the tutorial from the iron workshop). When I load the mod, firstly, almost non of the country names are showing up, not even in the menu. Then, all the colors are randomized and finally, the flag of my modded country isn't showing up. Anyone having a solution?

they are just stored in common/national_focus
the red army focuses are dynamic modifiers which can set in the history/countries file for a country of your choosing

Files that are straight up incompatible would be anything from the map folder, or anything from history/states
The rest are only incompatible in the sense that they might have some bugs due to MER changing them in some way or another
Such as focus trees, events, decisions, etc
Any files you think might be connected to states in any way have been modified, so would need a patch if they were to be replaced
Oh and common/bookmarks might cause issues
Hey, what can I do to upload my mod correctly on steam, cause I did it like Iron Workshop said in his video, and mod doesnt work when I try to launch it. The only way, for me, to make it works, is to launch it not from workshop, but from my disk. Anybody can help?

when you're done, simply launch your launcher, and look if it works, if some weird message will show up on your screen, not typical gui of your launcher, it means its broken
