Production you cant automate, but template and unit creation you could base off available equipment
I always use the human_ai cheat, but with this, everything is automated, so it would be nice if only the national spirit and front line placement could be automated.

I got some custom divisions right and they spawn on game start, BUT they start at absolutely 0% strength, which causes them to delete themselves after the game unpauses, is there any way to make them spawn at 100 % strength?

You can for demonstration and identification purposes put the focus names inside the focus file by adding

Then move this to the loc files and write descriptions when its all done

Hey, so im modding Old World Blues and when i add a country, the game crashes on the main menu. like It loads fine but when the main menu pops up, the game crashes. I have asked 3 times on the Old World Blues discord server but i have had no help from anyone on that server. I have added 14 other countries and they work fine, but when i add a 15th then the game crashes. Im running 2 other mods that are required for my mod to work: old world blues battlegrounds and old world blues. can someone please help me?

sometimes crashes can be blamed for faulty code so maybe check for mistakes
or maybe owb doesnt support adding a bunch of new nations as it is already massive

17358;2;31;3;lake;false;lakes;1 <-- this is alittle lake province (my only lake on the entire map) for what ever reason this little guy cause the mod to fail to launch and produce no error of any kind. also i have tried changing the integer to 0 as well. no luck there

paradox "fixed" CSV solution <---- obviously this one was not actually correct as it gave me two 17357 IDs and the province isent land its a lake or its suppose to be.

i have a "healthy" and "unhealthy" Rar of both version of the mod and the ONLY diferance between them is these lines above.
The healthy version boots into nudge and the unhealthy crashes on launch

its still this issue but my new solution has been to try and just remove the lake it self i tried opening all the differant layers and removing the lake from each layer but that just caused the mod to not launch am i missing something obvious?
also found out if i launch nudge and go to database/terrain it causes a crash i think its tied to this issue

As I assumed
i am 100% certain the error is this province 17357;2;31;3;land;false;unknown;0 but any attempts to remove it seem to just crumple the mod, i have tried removing the definiton and replacing it on the map with 17356 and merging 17356s prior position with an province that was next too it. But that just causes the mod to crash when loading database. i tried removing it from each map layer (but i might have missed one) i removed it from the province layer/rivers/Hight/terrain/world_normal did i miss one?
Idk what else to do or try at this point any one got any ideas?

guys I am trying to update this mod called arabia which is "what if sykes-picot never happened", it hasn't been updated since 1.10.8 (around 2021 or late 2020) and I added in all the new states, removed the collisions between the old and new states, added in supply rails to update it to the modern map but it still gives me an error whenever I boot it up

Everything basically from the beginning
Either you add a on_action or you change the state_category which determines such things. If you mean you want more starting building slots that is.
Usually, It's to add building slots only for a few states, like add building slots in Lisbon, Porto, Madrid and etc

What I mean is do you want the building slots to be added on the start of the game or through an action during the game

Then you can use on_actions or switch the state_category.

each country has either the generic or unique AI
I believe it's enough to just apply changes there, but besides the Command that runs of the AI there is nothing you can do via console

AI priorities can be modified in focuses/decisions, or even traits like with Hitler, but the console doesnt include access to all usual effects
This is why Stellaris has objectively better effect command because it just executes whatever you type instead of scripted effects
Which actually doesn't help here since those are modifiers

Novum Vexillum has some more possibilties for Alt History, and in my opinion, doesn't take as long to change the course of history. The focuses are a bit bland though, so I greatly recommend grabbing Novum Vexillum: Global Conflict to spice it up.

I have a little problem and want to find out what is wrong
Some time ago i was trying to make available one country from the start, so i just take as example already existed country and change to my own wish and all was running perfectly.
But when new dlc "By Blood Alone" was released it bring some issues.
Mostly all was working well as before, except three technoligies branches: armour techs and new separeted naval, they just were absolutely "stock".
But new air brach have all techs, just like it was edited by me.
So what can be wrong? I checked .txt file many times, but couldn't understand what i'm missing.

their is no error, just somehow germany becomes democratic when i put slovakia as a german puppet (same for bohemia), but it goes back to normal when slovakia isnt a german puppet (same for bohemia)

- Planet scale map like palpatine’s gamble, with a bunch of fan made planets and the Frieza force being this all encompassing faction that can fall into a warlords era as soon as the namek incident happens.
- Scale it on earth, with playable martial arts school and red ribbon, OP Z fighter unit mechanics that can only spawn by event and “Heal” overtime. Also an event controlled story chain.
Oh, and special red ribbon mechanics where after it falls you can be one of the warlords or create OP androids from the shadows.

I have been trying to make a mod that asks the question "what if everyone lost ww1?", and it is very early in development, but I have no idea why the country name isn't showing up. I have a "localization" file with a "countries_l_english.txt" file inside of it, but the names of my custom countries won't show up. Also my custom portrait for Ernst Thalmann won't show up properly, but that's fine.

Hi guys! I'm having a map error because my buildings/airports/rockets.txt files are empty. The problem is, when I try to use the nudge tool to fit all buildings in states, the game crashes! Can someone help? It's literally impossible to add every single building to provinces manually
are they empty before you load the game?
copy-paste the necessary files from the base game over to your mod file respectively and erase all of the lines from the copied files except the first line

A descriptor file is essentially a sign that points towards the mod. It being missing means it doesn’t know which folder is which

From the states you override, remove provinces (and factories/population) if the state has been split
