Match Code: 78S624

So, just got done with this hell hole of a game. Reaper kept tping behind me, and yes my aim is mid, so I was losing most the fights against him, but dps wouldn't peel to assist half the time or it didn't seem like it, and tank wouldn't either. Beginning of the match went really well, then we collapsed and they instantly went to blame supports, which I was duoed with my buddy at the time, when i repeatedly asked for assistance and pinged the reaper as he flanked, they would say things like "prolly" to answer my request in chat. Can I have someone else's opinion on this? Was it really me and my duo that were selling the game? It's been a rough losing streak for me. Both DPS were high bronze and tank was Silver 4, my duo is unranked, and like i said I'd fallen from gold 4 to Silver 2 in my losing streak.... drives ammiright?

Hi! I'm a D3 current, M2 peak support and would be happy to do a review with you if you'd like either in VC or I can leave some notes here whatever you'd prefer.

ok here are my notes:

  • Good damage (You are not a healbot and that is good. you put some very good kunais on the reaper)
  • TP usage was bad (way too many yolo TP to the tank)
  • TP cleanse on autopilot
  • DO NOT stand in the middle of your own team(VERY IMPORTANT!)
  • you walk in a straight line (the reaper gets free shots)
  • let your team walk infront
  • walking towards ppl you heal or damage on auto pilot (not good your hero has range)

You can practice any of these points I listed, but i will tell you your biggest weakness this game. You stand way to much in the middle of your own team. This is bad for all heroes, but MEGA BAD for kiri. If things go bad you cant tp out, cuz you are 1 meter away from every member of the team. This will buff you back to gold atleast, no joke. you can legit healbot your way there if you dont stand in the middle of your own team. The best thing you can do is to stand a bit to the side of your team so that the enemy has to intentionally aim at you, and you dont take random spam. this means not standing directly behind the tank even though you arent technically in the middle of your team anymore. OK there might be spelling issues but i dont gaf 🙃

# halcyon epoch could you leave me some notes? I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner

Unfortunately the code was wiped due to the new season so I don't have anything specific to that match. Overall, I'd say the notes from Brede are pretty on point for Kiriko.
Kiri works best slightly angled off to the side of your team about mid range. Far enough you have a good TP target to get out but close enough your team could reasonably peel if one of those CDs was already forced.

  • Suzu is your biggest CD for you AND your team. Use this carefully--are cleansing nade or waiting on JQ ult?--Do you need it seflishly or can you hold and TP out instead? Things to keep in mind.
  • Not sure what perks you took, so if you don't know best perk is Fortune Teller and Foxtrot. Fortune lets you increase your dps while still outputting heals and Foxtrot gives you/your team speed on cleanse which lets you get out of an ult or pinch quicker.
  • CPA31 this is a custom game for training parts of Kiri's kit. Dva ult negate, tp timing out of Sig ult, cleanses and shooting, shooting moving targets etc.
Ideally, focus on one area of improvement at a time. So maybe for your next couple of games, focus on always keeping a TP target that could get you out of danger in mind. Then once you feel that's improved focus on holding suzu for important ults/major cds.
Lastly, as support your job is to play your life. Don't TP into your Doom who is balls deep in the enemy team or if your team is down 2, go ahead and start backing out/away while you wait to regroup. Just always keep in mind, if you are dead/out of the fight there is very little chance your team can do/win anything.

I hope some of this is helpful!
