Silver game on Emre. I've played OW for like 600 hours maybe. Half of it was spent on playing casually when OW first released. Assume that I don't really know a lot about the game. Would like some input on what I should do and what AND HOW I can improve. Looking forward for the feedback and improving. Thanks <3

Game ID : GW9F6F
IGN : LIGARALD #1807

Also, I'm not a good FPS player at all. (Peaked Plat in LoL but that's the highest I got in any competitive ladder lmao)

Hey there! Thanks for the ping :)
I've had a TON of fun playing Emre lately
But my time is pretty limited! So for me, it's easiest to record and upload my VOD reviews!
If that works, I'm totally good to take a look and make a few notes! If it's alright, I'd love to have the video visibility set to public, but am happy to provide an unlisted link for you sunglus

Let me know if this works for you! Thanks for the replay code submission! :D

Yes, it works for me. And public or unlisted, either is fine.

It's processing and will take about 20 minutes before it's ready

Thanks a ton for letting me take a look at the replay! I'm glad you enjoy the new hero, and I think he's a blast to play, myself.

Use your abilities. Do the boring stuff. Don't play "The Hero" archetype. Adapt to your core rulesets (Hero, Comp, Matchup) and be mindful of your core principles (Timing, Map Control)

These are excellent directions to reach the point where we can start talking about the really specific hero interaction stuff. Right now, your focus should be on playing positions that are not right on top of your team, playing your effective ranges, using your CDs, and staying close to walls/corners/covers

Soon, you'll reach another plateau and that will likely be platinum LOL. Once there, there's some important compositional and macro strategy stuff that is important to consider - but just isn't pertinent enough here sunglus

This is a great thing btw. You have your choice of any one set of disciplines to pursue getting better at the game - which I imagine will be an easy endeavor

I use VAXTA to warm up, but really I think it's best to just play the videogame.

Also watch tons of coaches, lots of high level gameplay & streams, and listen to your teammates. It's not about being right. It's just about having an idea of how you wanna do it better or differently next time.

Enjoy this season of Overwatch and Emre, be good to your teammates, be fair to yourself, and good luck & have fun sunglusgooglythumb

There's a lot to enjoy about the Emre. I've pretty much said my piece and am very tired. Not much to type here.

Huge thanks to LiGarald aka Marshmallow for the replay code submission and the willingness to be VOD reviewed here on the channel. For you, I think that options begin in the positions where the character will have the least pressure a...
