I can’t rn, but I definitely could do it later(work xd)
would you be down now?
- Take high ground, at 1:00 you should take the high ground to your left. Out of direct line of fire with good vantage points to both heal and do damage.
- Stop jumping to dodge shots, especially when you're directly in line of sight face to face with the enemy. Jumping, especially as baptise, is the most predictable movement pathway you can take.
- A lot of Bap's advantage comes from his range. You shouldn't be in the fray with your team. Again, look for hard to reach high ground spots out of direct line of fire with a good sign on your team.
- At 2:05 you take the perfect spot. You have direct line of sight onto their backline while their tank is completely distracted by your team. That would've been a great chance to pick off a support on their team or distract the support to make them stop healing Mauga. Mauga is very heal intensive. As soon as you distract their support, he'll fall right over.
- At 2:47, you start missing shots on your tank because you're aiming for body shots. Aim for their feet.
Overall, your mechanics seem good, aim good. You have good prioritization on helping your team with the turrets, with a focus on keeping your team up. To get more utility, position yourself better. Frequently, you're below your team in terms of positioning. Stop playing in direct line of sight of the enemy, find a good spot from a medium range where you have good LOS on your team and the enemy's backline. To get more utility, pressure their backline and position better.
Source: Plat 2 Supp. I like watching Aspen, Penpuin, and Warn on twitch to get a better sense on how to play support. Watch how they play bap. Positioning is key to playing him.
Okay I'm watching this more now and STOP aiming for body shots on your team. Aim for their feet. There is no advantage whatsoever to hitting a healing body shot over aiming at their feet. You miss way more aiming for the body, especially when your team has a smaller hitbox, and it's just not nearly as effective.
If you
- Aim for feet to heal
- Take high ground more out of direct line of sight
- Pressure the enemy team's backline when it's approrpriate to do so
You'll def win more games
Very much thanks, ill try to apply that stuff
Also Aspen is goated
