#Bronze 5 Ana/Mercy, VOD [SA46A5]

Hi @jade edge . Outside of hardware issues and the sort, players normally land in bronze due to a simple lack of familiarity with the game. I’ve linked two great videos from Spilo (a well-regarded coach) for Mercy and Ana. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions after watching these.
Coach Spilo works with a Platinum Mercy, talking about POSITIONING, AWARENESS, VALKYRIE, POCKET PRIOTITY, and much more. Mercy may be undergoing many balance changes right now, but some things will forever be universally applicable to mastering one of the most underrated heroes in OW2!

Ana is one of the most popular supports in Overwatch, even with Kiriko's dominance. Figuring HOW to actually get value/carry with her kit is tough (she's one of the most difficult supports to play in OW2). Coach Spilo works with a Platinum Ana on PRESSURE, and when you need to put it out, and when simply surviving is pressure enough!

Also linking his support guide for a quick crash course in those heroes. It’s time stamped according to hero.
Ana, Baptiste, Brigitte, Lucio, Kiriko, Mercy, Moira, and Zenyatta- need help with any of these heroes? Need help understanding support as a whole (heck, TANK or DPS as a whole, too?)? Coach Spilo gives a COMPLETE seminar on how to play this entire support cast including (but not limited too):
- Mindset for playing support
- Having more impact ...
I’ve watched a lot of videos like this, it was the first thing my partner got me to do when I first started playing, I guess it’s just always remembering to put certain tips into actual play style in a game.
If I didn’t mention that I was newer to OW2, is there any other advice you’d give me based off my play in the game provided?
I’d have to take a look at the code specifically, but a lot of bronze players generally struggle with awareness, mechanics/execution, and cover usage. Those three things will go a long ways to carry you before understanding hero-specific stuff.
Yeah I understand that. I watch other Bronze players in things like Overanalyzed and I’m like “How are they making that mistake and not realising it!”
I think it’s easy to hear something 100 times over, but recognising it in your own gameplay and connecting the dots are different.
I was hoping to hear my game from a different point of view to get a perspective on how I’m playing, maybe there’s something I’m missing other than general small mistakes and needing to work on my aim.
Thank you though, if you ever get the chance to check my code out feel free to throw some critiques my way!
