1:08 - i like the flank, but you completely disregard the supports for the bastion, looked like you couldve bursted that mercy if you hit your shots. killing the bastion wouldve been nice too, you got them low enough to kill with a dash but didnt confirm the kill.
1:30 - at this point after messing around with the tracer, getting up on the bridge above the bastion and taking that off angle is both safe, and will likely give you and your team some sort of reward. both taking attention of your team if they turn to you, or letting you kill them if they don't.
2:20 - unless you're really confident in hitting shuriken on tracer, imo hunting tracers as genji is kind of a waste of time unless you're peeling for teammates they're already one hit.
4;05 - doesn't seem like there was a plan for that blade. i think you were going to target the mercy but she flew away, but she didn't fly far. definitely could've killed her. but still got some worth on the bap
4;27 - when you're in deep like that, keep your dash to either escape or to confirm the kill. very valuable cooldown for situations like that.
5;16 - try experimenting taking those off angles. going out that door on the left will help relieve some pressure off your team and get you a safer LOS on the enemy backline, good job scaring off the tracer and getting her to waste her ult
5:44 - good use of your dash to escape
6:15 - good use of deflect imo, didn't kill bastion but got him to stop shooting and retreat. the dash afterwards though, incredibly risky and had no chance of securing the kill with it. left you will no abilities to use against a full health bastion with pocket heals.
6:27 - great play off the rezđź‘Ť
6:48 - trying to kill the bap here is a good idea, he's all alone and didn't have Lamp. all around i think you just panicked, and wasted dash and reflect too early. you'll get the next one
8:25 - great pick on the bastion, great blade timing, good job. im also noticing theyre playing hanzo and bastion, you should be eating these two for lunch from here on out, diving both of them, provided you time it well, will be a good strategy from here on out. bully them lol
10:54 - good retreat, try not to take on a cass with his sticky grenade, i like to look out for that cooldown before engaging
11:20 – after killing the Bap, the bastion to your left would’ve probably been a better target, especially cuz he was in turret form, as it ended he was free. Not much else to do in this play. Although right before, you dashed into the entire team. Really risky, very lucky you didn’t get turned on by the whole team
12:06 – when you dash in like that and end up in such a close position, don’t be afraid to stand still and take some free shots. They haven’t noticed you yet, so why make your shots harder than they have to be. They also haven’t noticed you yet, so theres no need to reflect. Really good spacing on the opening dash though
12:18 – great use of dash reset and good blade timing. Target prioritization on that bastion was awesome and recognizing the kiriko was low and targeting them was also good
13:06 – another example, you don’t have to reflect there, nobodies has noticed you yet. Good pick on the cass though, good use of the combos
13:23 – in the future take note of your deflect usages, theres a few good ones in this vod but others are wasted too often
13:30 – dash in on the kiriko, it will kill her, immediately dash out to safety, quick pick
13:42 – wasted reflect, but good picks. You can cancel reflect into dash here for that last quick kill on Cassidy
14:16 – good recognition that you should just leave there after you prematurely reflected. Much better to back off in that situation and take the fight later, than to go all in and die before the fight starts
14:42 – at this point just back out of the fight, everyone's dead, and lucio wasted beat which is not good on his part
15:24 – both teams are down tanks, id blade this as soon as you killed the cass, and target the cluster right in front of you, mainly bap, then bastion. If they cleanse/immortality, then your team is there to follow-up
15:47 – if you didn’t waste deflect there, you'd be very safe to chase the cass and harass the enemy from that off angle through the door
16:47 – good blade. I'm assuming you were waiting for the Lucio beat to use it. Glad you used it when you weren’t the center of attention, good timing
overall what i found is that you waste far too many deflects. you dont need to use them as premature as you are in this game. keep an eye on how many deflects you are getting actual value from, and how many you dont do anything with. also you should experiment with taking off-angles when there poking going on. thats not saying go super deep and flank aaaaaalllllllll the way in the back, just divert attention off of your team more and if they dont look at you, punish them for it. that said, you seem to have good blade timing and are aware of genjis combos and dash resets which is good. maybe try using blade more often when you have it, as i also noticed you saved it too long in some cases. even getting one or two kills only with a blade is very valuable. hope this helps, if you have any questions about my notes or anything let me know. good luck!

and also yeah with my dash then deflect I assume that I'm instantly gonna be top priority and that people will instantly flick onto me and start shooting. I'll work on that.
