uh... if we only consider about server rules taking the loots is legit, but personally i'd say it's not a good thing to do

like, if you are the one swinging zwei and trying to get a gen12, and when you are wounded on the ground because of the fire another person came and took it straight away, you wouldn't feel good neither

Well normally Xboxes are free for all but in this event some of us consider that the box go to the killer or who sacrificed. Just need to know who plays with that rule in mind and who doesnt.
In this case I would say he overreacted

sry, i didnt want to be harsh. i asked for the box bc i killed bc the sever rule was that the killer gets it.but u can keep it. the persons i listed as stealer are ppl who stole gen 12 or heart. if u want i can give u as an excuse xbs. i overreacted bc i got stolen one gen 12 so now i didnt asked kindly to get it back.

Regardless of what you believe the rules to be, you cannot vaguely threaten other players because they don’t abide by your own idea of what is allowed. Neither can you go around every server you join posting your own personal shitlist. Regardless of the reason, that borders on harassment. If you have any issues with other players then consult the official server rules which have remained mostly unchanged since 2016. I can understand your frustration regarding having valuable items taken by other players, however thats just how the looting system works in invasion. You don’t have claim to a CB7 because you sniped someone from across the map, and the same applies regarding event elites like the odv or santa.

As seen in the above official rule list, the only one concerning loot is this:

Essentially anything on the ground is free to be taken by anyone. The only unofficial rule that most veteran players abide by is giving back items previously owned by another player and even that is only done out of courtesy, it can't be enforced by moderators. This is also the reason why trading is done at one's own risk.
Loot dropped by ai is completely "unprotected" in this regard and most players just accept that it "belongs" to whoever picks it first. Loot goblin behavior is generally looked down on, but only if it hinders the team's progress, like literally just sitting with a shield drawn and not even bothering to fight.

Exactly this.

To further the point about loot goblins, 0C8A was actively involved in the killing of that Grinch, not just standing around. Complaining about how you got the kill, and trying to pull rank and harass for the box, @inner matrix, was wrong. Claiming here, that it was a server rule that you were owed the item, compounds that view. I don't feel this was an over-reaction.

That all being said, everyone remember that it's just a bunch of pixels and code. Be kind to each other.
