There are prefilled recipes from the game with exotic catalyst (most of them).
The calculator tells you:
- Extra catalyst per recipe
- How many compacts are needed to keep a single recipe running all the time in one DTPF
How to make the pattern?
- Shift click recipe from NEI,
- Find the recipe in the calculator or fill it yourself
- Make sure the power energy laser is correctly filled in the calculator, each time you change the amount of power on the dtpf, all the patterns will become invalid.
- Add catalyst:
- If there is already catalyst in the recipe:
- Middle click the catalyst in the terminal, add the catalyst from the calculator (add "+" and the value), enter
- Middle click the catalyst in the terminal again and divide the value by 2
- If there is no catalyst in the recipe (spacetime, shirabon):
- Add catalyst to the ingredient, fill the amount from the calculator and divide by 2
- Now you can multiply the recipe if you want.
How to keep the DTPF running all the time?
The easiest way is to put all your recipes in cribuffer and passive something in the stocking hatches,
If you dont have enough catalyst to keep the dtpf running convergence recipes all the time, you can passive spacetime and shirabon without providing the catalyst, that way you can keep the DTPF running all the time without activating convergence
You can also rotate passive recipes to keep all fluids in stock to universalize all your DTPFs using OC script, if there will be interest in that I can post it in separate tips and tricks or here.
