oil is infinite if you get a little into thaumcraft and it’s very easy to setup. do ref gas if you want an easy setup

Basic pump take so little power you don’t need a big steam buffer to get it running in the background, you can get a super tank of oil easily to get you started

if you have a automatic wood farm (spruce bonsai in LV-MV) that fuels your "576" coke ovens it might be more economical to transition from steam to benzene

silicon can easily be made: rock breaker (makes infinite cobble), forge hammer, (cobble to gravel), forge hammer again (gravel to sand), centrifuge the sand and then electrolyze the silicon dioxide for infinite silicon

iv is where stuff starts to get bad ish

gotta make an assline to reach luv, and all of platline for it as well

Once you get the fluid rig multiblock, it’s so easy to get tons of oil for making light fuel. Centrifuge oilsands ore to make heavy fuel and boom you got diesel. It takes foreeever for a chunk to run out of oil, and if it does, a new one is always very close by

And you can also use the light fuel to automate polyethylene and vinyl chloride
