At the start of the year i began my GT New Horizons journey because of a video that Treefold made. Since then i reallly have enjoyed the modpack. At first i was a bit worried about the microcrafting but the autocrafting part makes that part trivial.
So i wanted to show of my base at lv, just started building the first few machines but am still upgrading my infrastructure

the same view reversed. I also have the mod Distant horizons installed.

i am currently just upgrading all of my infrastructure so that i can smooth out my progression in the next few hours, but that takes alot of resources...

Yes the seed is really cool. Really like the mountain vally with these 2 huge mountains in direct sight.
And the Mountain is big enough to house my Base. Planning to have the rocket fly through the top of the mountain

I really went hunting for a good base location/seed. Didnt want to have the problem to be unsatisfyed with the location after some time and with this one i feel like i have struck gold. Really like the view from the top of the mounten with Distant horizons

I also finished all the steam multis, still need to craft some conveyors and route water to the washer but the rest is done.
Also reworked the steam-singleblock machine area.
Am also experimenting a bit with bitt, but need to farm more wool haha

The floor is chiseled concrete and next to that the circut factory blocks.
the strips are neon glowstone
and the walls are ztones Bitt block
But am still very much experimenting with the stile

Distant horizons works really well. Had to do next to no setup and i didnt feel any performance drops since installing it, really worth it.
But i think the current version does not work with shaders

I also just stumbled upon it. Its not an official backport ( i think ) but it worked really well until now. And all the required librarys were already installed 😄

Mmmm ok I might try stone bricks. Your base looks really cool. I love those futuristic themed bases.

Yeah the bitt blocks I use are a bit more expensive, and need the assembler to do efficiently. But stone bricks can also look very cool if used right.
I am really excited about how it will look in the end I have big ideas in my head but getting them done is another thing😂
