#Documenting our new, tile-able base in LV

I decided to build with a sort of Death Star/Blame! aesthetic. Using Libreoffice Calc (FOSS Excel/Google Sheets) to design tiles in a grid, orienting tiles based on the northeastern-most block in each chunk. Currently the central room is mostly complete, and the flooring and walling of the storage room is in progress. Using chiseled factory blocks from Chisel and Korp 3/4 blocks for each separating ring

Happy to receive feedback!

red yellow green and blue = different chunks
white = walls
dark grey = flooring
light grey = linear chunk middles, white = chunk middle

the slopes are a recent addition not reflected in the original schematics

the circular room is planned to house steam production and steam multiblocks and probably most of the LV machines we have

this is a great idea! nice way to preplan the layout. think you could drop the Calc file as a template for me to lay something out too?

I've got a couple of tiles already set up to use

#

also, do you know if one can rotate the tiles? The method in the documentation doesn't work for me

regarding the different sheets, the 2nd sheet aligns the corner dots with the south west while the 3rd aligns with the north east

Day 2.5 of construction, hopefully one of my friends will have finished this part of the base by the time I get back on. The roof of the other room can wait since we don't have any plans to put any GT machines in there.

I can safely say I love the ztones Korp and Chisel Factory blocks, and hopefully soon we'll have a bigger block palette to spice the factory up with.

If anyone has any ideas as to what decorative blocks would fit, I would happily listen to any criticism!
