Hey everyone, I am planning on (pro)hosting a GNTH 2.8.0 beta server and we are looking for a few more people interested in playing on our server. I expect to start sometime within the first week of September. We have one member with limited experience with gregtech in other packs, but for all of us this will be our first time playing GTNH, therefore I am setting a modest goal of reaching the moon for the campaign, and hopefully we are able to go much further as well. In the event that we stop playing or someone would like to quit, I will also provide the world file to them.

Our group will be 2-6 players with varying modded experience, I have been playing mod packs on and off since the days of Aether and Tekkit. If you are interested in playing with us, in whatever capacity, please reach out. Culture wise, were part of a gaming community server that plays other games as well, so if you're looking to get a feel of what it would be like playing with us ahead of time, that's also an option. Most of us are going to be basing/working together, but I have nothing against there being other groups on the server. Server will not tolerate griefing/pvp. Ideally looking for other low/medium experience players.

I would like to join in with a friend of mine we were looking to join a server of gtnh because we have wanted to start a world in this modpack for while now. We have experience with different packs so it shouldn't be a problem

i would also want to join if i can, i have almost none experience with gnth directly but have lots of experience with other tech and automations modpacks, i think it would be pretty fun to play with a group

Timezones might be a little difficult, I work a 9-5 so earliest I'd really be on for you would be 11:00PM on weekdays

And the experience is nothing to worry about, should just make the early ages go a lil faster

Split between both, I'd say on average I play a little later in the day than most East coasters (I'm East)

For everyone else looking to join, I think we have a decent sized group for now, and I might hold off on looking for more members until our start date to see how much the interest persists. Looking into it I'm not opposed to more players but I might cap the server somewhere between 8-10 concurrent users mostly for performance purposes.

If anyone was interested in creating a separate team as well, that might make for an interesting server dynamic that avoids too many cooks in the kitchen 😂

@hushed topaz I've got absolutely zero experience in GTNH. But I used to play expert packs back in the day a-la E2:E. Timezone is GMT but like. my sleep schedule is so degen I dont think it matters. Want to play with other people since I find it hard to motivate myself in singleplayer

@hushed topaz Hello, id like to join if its still open. Iv gotten as far late LV, although iv been playing modded minecraft for years and always up to learn more mods. My timezone is EDT (UTC-4) and can be active in voice chat.

Taking new applicants for our server, specifically people with lesser experience with the pack. We are about four days in, one group is early-MV, another smaller group is mid-steam, and there are two solos playing. If anyone is interested in joining in, drop a message.

For main group (early-MV) we prefer people to be in voice and keep progression to ~peak NA gaming hours.
