Inventarium:** the ordo-brain machine, and by far the most complex, the inventarium acts like a central storage system with the associated costs. to start, the inventarium core must be construted, this consist of a amber-encased nitor with a order crystal cluster on top, and at least 8 bookshelfs in a 7x7x7 area.
any type of bookshelf (regular, enchanted and ensocrelled) are allowed to be used, higher-tier ones grant more possible storage however, in a more compressed space. the amount of ordo crystal clusters in the 7x7x7 area define how many Unseen scribes can be used.
Unseen scribe: this is the block that monitors nearby inventories for the inventarium, to function it requires 2 things: a steady supply of ordo vis from a relay and a functioning link to the inventarium. machines are link to the nearest inventatrium by right-clicking them with a wand. i recommend getting a specialized ordo-node for just the inventarium to keep it running.

Scriveneers oculus: this block can be placed directly on top of a unseen scribe, and allows you to define what inventories the unseen scribe should monitor, this is done by inserting a crystalline eye into the oculus, which already has a block selected, of course.

Memory block: im going over this now as this block allows the next step of the inventarium: these block should be place below the inventarium, with at least 1 amber-encased nitor touching its side. each memory block increases the amount of Golemic taskmasters and requisition tomes the inventarium can handle.
Golemic taskmaster: this block can be linked to an inventarium in the usual manner, and needs Ordo vis form a relay to function. it serves to send commands from a requisition tome to linked golems. every taskmaster can only handle 7 golems, and it is advised to use 1 golem per chest. (so using ironchests can be advised)

these golems must have the Fill core and a place to deliver the items to (usually a mirror of some sort). golems can be linked to a taskmaster with a golem linking bell, and melding mirrors allows for a singular output of items.

Requisition tome: this block must also be be linked to the inventarium in the usual way and it requires ordo vis from a relay as well. this block send commands to the golemic taskmaster as to what item must be retrieved, without a dispersing mirror, these items shall always end up at the standard drop-off location.

the lower-most left slot is used for the return line. this function can be activate by placing a mirror with a valid end-destination nearby and using a crystalline eye to link them together, this completed a 1-tome requisition system.

#

Dispersing mirror: the final part of an inventarium, and also only available in the lastest version of automagy. this block needs to be placed and linked to the inventarium first. it allows for multiple requisistion tomes to function properly with multiple drop-off locations.

once linked to the inventarium, make sure that requested items end up at the dispersing mirror, either directly or indirectly. now all requisition tomes must be defined a drop-off mirror, this can be the same mirror you used for the return-line. and once more this location can be defined with a crystalline eye.

Inventarium HV Magic Ae2?

icy hollow

This is locked to HV?
Pity as otherwise might have been a (niche) alternative to LP

If the trade for ender eyes stays you can even skip that with just villagers

But it was said to be deleted

I need to read on IC2 rework

Why would I want this? Is it just fun? Does it have any particular advantages over AE2, or at the very least, meaningful differences in inventory logic that could potentially give it use as a subnet?

#

Like this all sounds really cool but also like it might be less useful than logistics pipes

#

Is it good for some sort of thaumcraft automation?

#

Would it work for botanic autocrafts?

flat forge
#

I think it's really only useful if you're like a super thaumaturgist and like doing everything thaumcraft

#

from what I read and watched, it seems like it's just a very barebones LP system, where the golem just grabs items from chests for you

#

and the golems can get stuck pathfinding sometimes

Oh. Maybe it'll come up if they ever do a thauncraft version of the steam gate where they release a top tier mod pack as a joke for april fools 2025

**Automagy's Inventarium is probably the most AE-like -- it doesn't do autocrafting, but in terms of a central searchable database of monitored inventory and a method to request those items be delivered to you, it's pretty strong. Especially when paired with Chest-Binding Seals from Thaumic Exploration, you can have a fairly large-scale operation set up.

It does require significantly more investment to get started, including a number of Order shards and an Energized Node, though.**
