@brisk canyon after not getting much reception to my first post, I'm thinking about going this route with my world, and opening it up as more of a public server. I want to host because then I can ensure that the world stays up and nobody has to restart (I've played in 3 servers that died, don't want to restart again haha)
So if you want you can check out my post and see if it sounds like a good place for you,
ideally you'd want to use voice chat to talk to whoever is playing
