Here's my ore processing setup that I've been using in HV for ages. I feel like it looks nice because of the symmetry, and it can handle quite a lot too because of the chest buffers. Its only problem is the low throughput. I also like how from this image you can tell pretty much exactly how it works.

Would be cool if you did a guide/breakdown how you set this up in tips and tricks, I got kinda lost trying to do this for some reason.

Do they produce byproducts?

A guide would be sick, even if just a flowchart. Orproc is confusing fr

I mostly just followed what the wiki said

But a little simplified

It's only really the macerator and it's not much faster.

#

Besides, the slight cost in speed is worth it to be so much more efficient.

#

Especially with ores like tetrahedrite where the 'byproduct' is the main reason for processing it.

#

To fix throughput, get a simple ore washer and use it for the impure dusts that you don't care about the byproducts of.

#

You lose a few percent of efficiency, but nowhere near as much as from not using a universal macarator, and you save minutes of centrifuge time per ore.

#

Either that or get more centrifuges.

Yeah since I made this picture I've added three more centrifuges

#

And a couple more macerators because I always had too much crushed ore
